Template was bent when I opened box, but a little clear packing tape and all was good. Follow instructions and you'll be fine.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by mbbourne Solid cat door- for small cats
It is a good cat door, it is off white- which is not great but not terrible to look at.
It is pretty expensive for 6 pieces of plastic, 4 screws and 2 flaps. Ours was a through wall installation so we had to purchase the extender parts.

Great door, keeps weather out, lets dogs see through door. Wall kit that came with it needs minor customization with screws size depending on wall width.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beagle556 Best thing I've done for my K-9 kids !
I installed my XL door 4th of July weekend 2012 I just replaced the door flaps 4th of July weekend 2016. So far 4 great years of service.
Sometimes any one of my dogs will stick their head out just to look around I notice from the hot or cold air if sitting at table and I shout get in or out. K-9 kids are just like other kids.
The only negative is the outside part of mine gets a lot of direct sun in the summer and has faded a little. Wonder what I can do restore frame outside ???

Love this Ruff Weather door. I did a through the wall install which requires the wall install kit which is just the tunnel part that goes between the inside and outside halves. If you do a door install you don't need the wall kit and install is easier. Double flaps keep cold air out and my dog quickly got use to using the double flap (we had a sliding door dog door with one flap that let cold air and bugs in very easy)
The Ruff Weather double flap is the way to go, best one out there. I did install myself and it was pretty straight forward, good instructions. I had to cut through our new vinyl siding but it can easily be repaired if we decide to remove the door someday. Pics attached.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by MattieB6 All Weather Doggy Door
We have two small dogs and needed an all weather door to go from the inside of the house, through stucco, to an outside dog run. The placement was in the side of the house with no easy access to both sides of the door during installation. The quality of the doors seem to be very good. The wall kit was difficult to put together and insert into the doors. As well, the instructions for the doors were in two other languages and not in English. This made for difficult installation if going by the instructions. However, the installation was pretty intuitive. If penetrating through an outside wall, it is better to cut a small hole in the interior drywall and feel around for cable and electrical wire prior to making your entire cut. You may be surprised at how close electrical may come to the door and adjustments will need to be made. You especially do not want to cut the exterior stucco and find you cannot place the door where needed because of wiring. Also, when making the outside cut in stucco, I used a 3/8 mason drill bit and drilled every 1/2 inch or so around the template versus cutting out with a circular saw. It took longer, but was cheaper and I had more control. It is difficult to get the holes lined up for long bolts, and the bolts were 1.5 inches too long for a snug fit. I used a nice spacer to cover the bolt hole and reduce the length of the bolt. This worked well. I suggest two people working together when aligning the bolts for final installation. I would buy this product again.
