Answer:
Yes the doors will fit. If you look at the door online you will see there is a line drawing of a sideview of the door. This shows that the door panels are 76 3/4" tall and the track on the top is 1 1/2" and the bottom saddle is 5/8". That being said there will be a 1/2" larger gap then the standard 80" opening but the doors can be adjusted to work well in 80 1/2".

I have opening 60x80 but 60x80 doors are out of stock now.
Can I instead order 2 doors 30x80 to fit my opening and will it make any difference?

If there is no difference, why there is difference in price?
60x80 are listed for $445.88 whereas two 30x80 doors will cost less than $340.

Thank you.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 9 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not what we were expecting. The doors are well built and heavy. The main problem is that there is a lot of gap/space between the doors when spaced out in the opening. We have a 48" wide opening so ordered two 24" doors, but there is at least a 1/2 gap on each side between the door and the opening frame. That's not so bad as the 1.5" gap at the bottom and the ugly plate that had to be screwed to the floor. It comes with a piece of oak trim that is supposed to go all the way across the floor, but we have carpeting there, so I had to cut the piece of oak down to about 2.5", then cut a piece of carpeting out, then place that piece of oak down and the bottom plate on top of it and screw the whole thing down with long screws (not provided). It looks really ugly. So I took a couple pieces of carpet that are close to a match to our carpet, cut some little rectangles with a slot, then placed that over the metal bottom bracket. It looks much better now, but not as nice as the door it replaced. It also didn't come with any instructions. I had to call Home Depot, they did some homework and found a video on-line that was pretty good. August 10, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome Bi-Fold Door! I highly, highly recommend this door! I was in need of a bi-fold door for a small room and also needed a mirror so I thought I'd try to combine the two. I've never purchased this kind of door before so I relied heavily on photos, specs and customer reviews. Even with this research, when I received the door I was so surprised and impressed with its quality! It is awesome and is obviously built to last. It was also easy to install. Please note: My door was installed by one, physically fit, mechanically-inclined person and it turned out perfectly. However, some may want two people during installation simply because of the weight of the door. March 15, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very nice doors. Assembly instructions need to be improved. I installed three of the 24 x 80 bifold mirror doors by myself. They are indeed quite heavy, so I do recommend having an assistant to help you position the door during installation. One thing to be aware of up front is that there is an oak threshold ("saddle") that goes at the base of the opening. This piece should be stained before you begin assembly. One advantage of this design is that the wooden "saddle" is much easier on your feet than a metal track that other doors use. Since the saddle is not used as a track, it is flat on top. In fact, I fail to see why you could not simply cut off the portion of this saddle that is not actually supporting the door as long as the part that remains is very well fastened to the floor. In the instructions, there are a few problems. First, the list of hardware identifies each item with a letter. Unfortunately, the instructions do not match the letters in the list. This can be confusing, but the images should allow you to figure out what they really intend. In step 4, the instructions are very confusing. There is a metal plate to be attached to the oak saddle. In the directions, they state "slotted holes in plate go in closet door". Since you are being told to screw the plate into the oak saddle that will eventually be attached to the floor, this statement is totally incomprehensible. I now believe that what they meant to say is that the slots should be on the side of the saddle toward the closet. I had the piece backward such that when the door was fully assembled, the door angled inward at the bottom. I then realized that the metal floor plate was backward, so I had to take the door down and reverse the plate. Step 15 instructs you to install a door-to-wall aligner. This part was not provided with my doors and I do not see why it would be needed anyway. Note that the hardware required to fasten the saddle to the floor is not included. If you are installing this product over a floating wood floor, beware that you should not nail or screw it directly through to the floating wood floor and sub-floor. If you do this, you will fix the floating floor in place and if the floor shifts, gaps may open up. The solution is to drill larger holes in the floating floor and then use steel washers stacked up slightly higher than the floor and screw the saddle into the sub floor through the washers. This is virtually impossible to do if you follow the instructions provided which tell you to fast down the saddle only after completing installation. I fully assembled the door and made note of the final position of the saddle, then I removed the door and screwed down the saddle using the procedure described. I then re-installed the door. This worked out very well. Since I now had confidence in placing the saddle, I was able to install the next two doors without the pre-installation. I simply attached the saddle to the floor right at the start. March 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good quailty The unit is heavy in comparison to other cheaper doors which gives it a feel of quality. The door works smoothly after installation. It is no more difficult to install than competitors units. Because of the narrow width 24" I needed I chose no bevel on the mirror to break up the reflection. The mirror has no distortions. Overall I'm happy with the door. August 19, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by quality product Quality product, better than the Lowe's equivalent (though much more expensive than Lowe's). Easy to install, smooth open/close movement. June 10, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Purchase with confidence!! These mirrored doors added a lot of glamour to my bedroom. Our house was built in the 1920s, and I was worried the doors might be of lesser quality than the rest of the house, but they are great. They open and close very easily, and I'm delighted with the way the pair of 24 inch doors fill my 48 inch closet doorway. July 3, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Better quality then anything off the shelf Very satisfied with doors. Purchased 4 sets for 2 48" openings. Only negative comment I have is the top header track is polished aluminum and could be polished better. The exposed side was very blotchy. February 14, 2012
