I have an opening of 59". I was hoping to purchase two of these 30x80"s, but my opening is too small. Any suggestions?

Asked by: Issi
The doors are 59.5 but the rails are 30 and 1/8. You could saw them I guess but I returned mine because the mirrors were scratched

What is the actual size of this mirror panel? My current closet opening is measured exactly at 60in x 80in. Will 2 of this mirror panels fit?
Asked by: Winn
This is the bullet from the product description. Bi-fold is for a 30 in. wide finished opening and is made of two 14-3/4 in. panels. The bifold doors are made to fit the dimension listed. You could of course buy a 60" x 80" door which would be the same 4 panels with a one piece track.

What does the back side of the door look like?

I won't be using this in a closet, but in a very small doorway between rooms. I recognize and like that one side is mirrored. What does the other side look like? Can that be customized? Thank you!

30 in. x 80 in. Beveled Edge Mirror Solid Core MDF Interior Closet Bi-Fold Door with Chrome Trim is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 24.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thrilled I usually do not take the time to write reviews. However when my 5yr old son ran full speed without looking into this door I thought for sure it was going to break. The door held up like nothing happened. Besides being great looking I am now certain they are safe. Although I do not recommend anyone else finding out this way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous! These closet doors are simply gorgeous!! They are absolutely stunning, and well made. They are made of thick, sturdy glass. We got two sets, and put them in my hallway closet to replace my old flimsy sliding mirrored doors. I am in love with these. Only negative is that they were hard to install. DH (who is a handyman) had some trouble with these. But definitely worth the hassle, because they're beautiful and well worth it!!!

I already have them in my home. The problem is ordering it from Home Depot. The order was put in for 4 pairs of which 3 were fine but one was damaged and had to be returned. Since then the replacement came in damaged again and was sent back and reordered. This time the store could not even find were the order was and did not know who was shipping the product. My money for the 4th pair has been returned to my credit card without asking me. Now I have 3 pairs of doors that I need but I need the 4th to match. The contractor does not even care to go into or do business with that store (Lake Worth, Fl corner of Jog Rd and Lantana ). This order is in a mess. Not getting help and not happy with Home Depot. I my have to return the 3 pairs to Home Depot and go to Lowe's and order 4 pairs so they will all match.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Mixed reviwew My negative feedback is solely because the door is not actually 80" as described online. It's really just over 78". My carpenter had to place a 2" filler in the door frame them drywall/paint to match the wall. I kept the door because it is VERY solid and the beveled edges are lovely, it just took more work than expected to install.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very mirror doors ! I had a contractor install some bi fold mirror doors and right away had problems with them. They were very cheap feeling and low quality. I insisted he swap them out. He told me to order the ones I wanted and he would deduct it off of my bill. Well I found these and was a little hesitant, due to the freight charges online. Once they came in, I realized why. These have some serious weigh to them and are very well designed. I am overly happy with this product and glad I went with them. On top of the great design and quality, they are also very nice looking and smooth operating.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pretty but fragile Not the easiest to install, but by the second one, it was easier. The major flaw is the handles. They make closing the bifolds easy but impossible to open. I'm make-shifting pulls for the middle of the doors so I can open them easily. With one month of use, I opened the door and it touched something against the opposite wall and cracked.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from looks really nice now that the two sets are installed I needed to replace 2 complete sets of mirror bi-fold doors because the original 22 year old ones had started to sag, the mirrors were sliding down the frames. these are much higher quality than the original and look just fine. installation is a two person job unless one has exceptionally long and strong arms.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from beware if you buy more than one overall the door is excellent. i had a professional installer to handle the installation and seems like it was all fairly simple to do. here is the only problem: i got 4 of these doors to be used on 2 different closets. 3 of the doors came with a small handle that is being installed with a two sided tape (seems a bit low quality if you ask me. makes more sense if i could attach the handle / knob with some screw or something). and the 4th door came without anything. so now i will need to go to home depot, and hope they will make this right somehow...
