The oak saddle is a bad design feature that makes installation difficult. Other bi-fold doors that I have installed use a simple bracket to hold the bottom pivot. After I ordered this bi-fold mirror door, I went to the HD web site and downloaded the installation instructions. Immediately, I saw a problem in fastening the saddle (step 14) to my ceramic-tile floor. How was I supposed to get construction adhesive under the saddle with the 65-pound door precisely aligned on top of the saddle? So I went to the Window & Door expert at HD. After he studied the instructions for many minutes, he suggested that I follow the instructions up to step 14. When everything was aligned properly, put masking tape around all edges of the saddle on the floor. Then remove the door, apply construction adhesive to the saddle, and reinstall it inside the tape markings. I had to wait two days for the construction adhesive to set/cure to the ceramic tile. In step 4, do not tighten the hex-head screws until the door is properly aligned. At that point you will also need an open end wrench that is not in the tool list. I also needed a hammer, a flat-end screwdriver, and a wooden rod to pry the door into proper alignment. You will also need an assistant to help align the door while you are on the floor aligning the adjusting bolt into the cup of the metal floor plate (step 11). You may want to paint the oak saddle. It is a hindrance to keeping the floor clean. After the installation was complete, the bi-fold mirror door works great. My wife loves it.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Pat POLISHED EDGE MIRROR SOLID CORE MDF INTERIOR CLOSET BI-FOLD DOOR
Following the instructions it was easy to put all the parts on and install the door in less than 1/2 hour. It is a good solid door. It is a little heavy when installing it alone.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by mon3311 Nice looking and heavy duty
These mirrors were pretty easy to install and are very heavy duty. They look beautiful as my bedroom closet doors. They are very heavy so beware! The only reason for the 4 stars is that one of them was broken at the edge upon delivery - it's right at the bottom and so the casing covers it, but a shard of glass fell out. I ended up keeping it because once installed, you couldn't tell. I would recommend these as they were the least expensive of all I looked at.

The product was short hardware and when we called to get the parts they could not expedite the parts quick and I'm still waiting for them after a week! Not a good deal at all .

Door is very heavy and needs more than 2 people to install and adjust, Tip pivot spring mechanism (SP-100) failed after 2 months; door disengaged.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Spddm0n Well made, nice looking and easy to install
These mirror doors were my first experience in such a product, so I have nothing to compare it to. That said, these are well made, nice looking mirrors and fairly easy to setup and install so long as you take your time to understand what needs to be done.
I bought four units and set them up alone, but if you can find someone to help, would be even faster and better because these are a little heavy to handle alone.
Thinking about getting bi-fold mirror doors for your closet! get these, you'll be happy you did.

We just installed these doors on a closet that had two huge, heavy sliding doors. We were renovating the bedroom, and were looking for something smart looking as well as functional. Well, we found it at Home Depot. These doors are beautiful and open up the whole room. I'd recommend these to anyone who's looking for something stunning.
