Product Overview

Welcome to the best mirror bi-fold doors money can buy. Our bi-fold mirror closet doors are 3/4 in. solid MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) with the mirror laminated directly to the surface, creating a much safer pierce resistant mirror door. Most mirror doors are simply mesh backed mirror in a lightweight frame. This creates two issues; the mirror without a backing can become wavy plus. We believe the Impact Plus line of sliders are the safest mirror door on the market. The Impact Plus MDF door is the product line that launched our company. In 1957, when our doors with 3/4 in. solid MDF panels, our patented TruClose cam activated hinges and heavy duty hardware first hit the market it quickly became the top choice for Manhattan developers and architects. From Turner Construction when they built the Hofstra Dormitories on Long Island to HRH Construction when they built The Trump Towers, developers continue to purchase our Impact Plus bi-fold and sliding doors. Today this product is bought by contractors, homeowners and developers alike.

Answer:
Yes the doors will fit. If you look at the door online you will see there is a line drawing of a sideview of the door. This shows that the door panels are 76 3/4" tall and the track on the top is 1 1/2" and the bottom saddle is 5/8". That being said there will be a 1/2" larger gap then the standard 80" opening but the doors can be adjusted to work well in 80 1/2".

I have opening 60x80 but 60x80 doors are out of stock now.
Can I instead order 2 doors 30x80 to fit my opening and will it make any difference?

If there is no difference, why there is difference in price?
60x80 are listed for $445.88 whereas two 30x80 doors will cost less than $340.

Thank you.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Unable to use Had to return, would not work in my particular application. August 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Substantial Mirror Bi-folds - Very Happy The doors look great. They are not like the flimsy ones that simply put the mirror in a frame. These things are heavy and substantial. The feel and look like quality bi-fold doors. They're somewhat pricey, and the vendor does not deliver for free to Home Depot (a bummer because delivery cost $100), but they did deliver to the door. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by mirror door was warped I paid for professional installation. The door was completely warped. Very dissatisfied. I hope Home Depot will replace, including the installation. March 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful and solid doors We received the doors quickly. My son-in-law and I installed them in about 3 hours, part of that time was just from being very careful. They fit well and really look good. One caution though, I was not comfortable with hanging 50 lb or so of door from two 2 1/2 inch screws. So, we used four screws up into the 2x4 cross piece and added 2 screws to the pair holding the metal hanger strip. The mirrors seem to be solidly in place now. September 27, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by i am thrilled with these doors. they are gorgeous and solid, and glide well. i am 100% satisfied. i went with my gut on these doors in spite of friends and family trying to talk me out of mirrored bifolds in general. i kept coming back to a very positive review and i just felt that these doors had to be better than the off the shelf doors at homestores. i even called the company--very difficult to find their contact info--and asked them a few questions. they were very helpful. i am so happy with this purchase--they are super sleek and modern and fit perfectly in our new master bedroom. A+++++!!! p.s. i also got the primed bifold doors in the tallest size for side closets and i LOVE them, too. i have never done a product review before because i generally don't rave about many things, but i read reviews a lot and there weren't many for this product. if you are debating at all, go for it. only con i can think of: fingerprints! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by good quality I wanted a quality product that would last. I think this will fill that need. October 20, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Bad design The oak saddle is a bad design feature that makes installation difficult. Other bi-fold doors that I have installed use a simple bracket to hold the bottom pivot. After I ordered this bi-fold mirror door, I went to the HD web site and downloaded the installation instructions. Immediately, I saw a problem in fastening the saddle (step 14) to my ceramic-tile floor. How was I supposed to get construction adhesive under the saddle with the 65-pound door precisely aligned on top of the saddle? So I went to the Window & Door expert at HD. After he studied the instructions for many minutes, he suggested that I follow the instructions up to step 14. When everything was aligned properly, put masking tape around all edges of the saddle on the floor. Then remove the door, apply construction adhesive to the saddle, and reinstall it inside the tape markings. I had to wait two days for the construction adhesive to set/cure to the ceramic tile. In step 4, do not tighten the hex-head screws until the door is properly aligned. At that point you will also need an open end wrench that is not in the tool list. I also needed a hammer, a flat-end screwdriver, and a wooden rod to pry the door into proper alignment. You will also need an assistant to help align the door while you are on the floor aligning the adjusting bolt into the cup of the metal floor plate (step 11). You may want to paint the oak saddle. It is a hindrance to keeping the floor clean. After the installation was complete, the bi-fold mirror door works great. My wife loves it. August 24, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by mirror great/no hardware Mirrored door seems very nice and sturdy. However, no hardware was included so after leaving 3 messages with the company with no response, called Home Depot. They are going to send replacement hardware but could take up to two weeks. Very disappointing since we already waited two weeks to get the door! August 18, 2015
