Replacing InSinkErator faucet - question about compatible parts

I have a leaking Hot & Cold faucet (F-HC1100) and wondered if I can replace it with the Hot Only model (F-GN1100? I was worried the faucet bases might be different sizes and could create a problem with the hole diameter in the granite.

is this price for the spout only?

Hello and thank you for your question. Yes, the Indulge Series hot water dispensers require the additional purchase of our Stainless Steel Tank. I have included a link below to that product for easy reference. Thank you for your question.

why is the brushed crome insinkerator F-HC1100 so much more expensive than the other finishes.

Asked by: Anonymous
same reasons all designer items that are new cost more than a knock-offs or last year's model - supply and demand, fashion statement. if you are matching brushed nickel faucets, the chrome would look out of place.

Why would the cold side be needed if most refrigerators have cold filtered water. Instant hot makes sense, cold does not

Asked by: Joejoe
I have this faucet and the cold water side is only as cold as your tap water is. There is no "refrigeration" of the water and therefore, if you want chilled water, a unit on the fridge is the best option. I prefer having the option of cool water vs. chilled water and the instant hot is awesome for tea.

Were can I get repair parts for the Insinkerator Indulge hot & cold fauset? Insinkerator does not supply parts and recomments a complete replacement.

Asked by: Anonymous
Hi JD-Arch This is Jim from InSinkErator. Unfortunately there are no serviceable parts for our Indulge faucets. We have internally studied the feasibility of servicing the assembly and found it can be somewhat of a complex process which would be very difficult for the majority of our consumers to accomplish, and if not performed correctly, there is the risk of leaking issues. We do offer a we come to you 5 year warranty on our Indulge faucets to address any issues that arise and we quite routinely take other circumstances into account should the unit fall beyond this time frame when trying to assist our customers. We do individually address concerns to provide unique solutions. I would like the opportunity to further discuss your issue. If you could, please send me an email at ISE.Feedback@Emerson.com with your contact information, when you purchased your hot water dispenser and the serial # located on the Tank. Thank you! Sincerely Jim Z.

Indulge Contemporary 2-Handle Instant Hot and Cold Water Dispenser Faucet in Biscuit is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 142.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Response to "Sputtering" The water flow (or stream) will spit, sputter, and/or splash if air enters the lines, or if the temperature is too hot and the water boils. Check the hose connections. Be sure to use some type of hose clamp or mini zip tie. There is one tube that is not visible. You'll need to loosen the tiny screw on top of the tank and pull off the front cover. On the top of the unit, you should see a small tube that runs on the outside of the styrofoam over the top, down the side, around to the front then goes up and connects under the small expansion reservoir that sits on the top of the tank. This hose rests against the tank and will become dry and brittle over time. Be sure to replace it with the proper size tube when needed and secure them in place. Hope this helps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy installation and great performance I replaced a Franke Little Butler with this unit after that one gave out. It did last about 13 years. This one installed more easily and works great. I did install a filter system as well that was easy as well. The push in connectors are fast and there were no leaks. I am moderately handy and it was no issue at all to accomplish.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great concept but poor quality This is my third faucet in 25 years. They leak within 5 to 7 years and are not fixable . I will not buy another one nor will advice anyone to buy one .

We just had this installed as part of our kitchen makeover, and I wish we had done it years ago. This water dispenser is so convenient to use and so compact it makes a wonderful, functional addition to our kitchen. We have been able to get rid of the electric kettle and filter water pitcher which had been cluttering up the counter, which adds to the streamlined beauty of our remodeled kitchen. The water tank and filter take up a fair bit of real estate under the sink, but it's a fair trade-off for the added counter space. We are particularly pleased with the filter feature, which works even better to deliver pure-tasting water than the filter pitcher we had been using.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product except.... Wonderful improvement over my 22 year-old filter dispenser except that 1 week after it was installed and working beautifully, it suddenly started intermittently expelling a "splattered" instead of "steady""stream of water (although you can hardly call the water coming out a "stream" when it is acting up). It happens more often on the hot water side but actually comes and goes on both...more coming than going.. I unscrewed the nozzle thinking something had blocked the water flow, but it was clear....if anyone has experienced and solved this, Hope someone will have a solution. It worked beautifully the 1st week!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from For this price it should last 20-30 years This is a replacement for the original that was installed in 2008 when the hot water faucet handle broken and would not shut off. The replacement started leaking 3 months after it was installed. It drips for about 15 minutes, leaking about 1/4 cup of water then stops. It has been too much of a hassle and time issue to try to replace this one and I don't want to pay the plumber again. I have no idea about installation and customer service because my plumber installed it and dealt with the ordering of a replacement, so I gave an average score for both.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this!! I am not sure how I lived without this faucet! Having hot water on demand is amazing. I use it for everything from hot tea to oatmeal to cleaning stuff off my pans. Then having the filter water side is great because the pressure is so much more than what comes out of the fridge water dispenser. The look is great as well, matches my Kohler faucet just perfect.
