Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by emlarge (+++) Great design, sturdy, good value (---) Too hot, instructions not clear, not always a smooth stream of H2O.
This product is rugged and sturdy and relatively easy to install, but because there are several sets of instructions it was a bit confusing. If you set the temperature too high the water can get boiling hot and vaporize, causing a sputtering and chaotic flow of water to come out instead of a smooth steady stream like you'd expect from a new faucet. Too high of a temperature also builds up pressure and causes unit to leak from the faucet-head (just a constant drip). This is all resolved by simply turning the temperature down slightly on the unit. We're happy with the product! Would like it to 'stick out' just a little further into the sink so we can fit bowls under it (ie. for making instant oatmeal) - great size for mugs though (tea)!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by name123 Nice upgrade from what we had
Easy installation with the exception that the faucet wanted to drip until we discovered that the anti-siphon tube had to be connected to the heater tank is such a way that there were no air leaks. Just pushing the plastic tube onto the receptacle on the heater tank is not enough. Some type of a clamp should be included so that a strong seal can be made to insure that there is no air leakage.
This problem should be addressed in the installation manual in very clear terms.

I would have given this product 5 stars at first. But with hot water running through it over time it will leak somewhere. Not a big problem if they allowed you to buy parts, but they don't. A simple blue hose with two connectors on mine is leaking. The part should cost around 5 to 10 dollars at most. The company will not sell you the part so if you wish to continue using it you will need to buy a new one or find some other way of fixing it. This is the second time this has happened to me.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by JC Very expensive but does not include water tank
This is a beautiful dispenser but it does not include a water tank. If you buy this you will then have to purchase a hot water tank which costs about as much as the dispenser itself. That makes this a $500 item all told, not including any plumbing you may need to do. Very expensive!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by NVBuzz So far so good
We have had an instant hot water dispenser for years and needed to replace it. Had this unit professionally installed, so installation was not an issue. Took some time to come up to temperature, but so far so good. Delivers near boiling hot water on demand. One issue on installation was that when the nut holding the faucet was tightened, the faucet started to leak. Needed to back off the nut and leak stopped. Seems pressure caused something to deform. Bad mark for engineering of unit. Faucet is good match for our kitchen sink faucet which is why we purchased this model.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Customer Attrative & functional
We had it installed by a plumber with a new counter-top & sink installation. It matches well with the brushed bronze pull-down faucet and looks good. It's only been in 4 weeks, but seems to function well so far - no leaks or seeping. It does have a very good flow rate. Our previous insinkerator twist knob type had a slow flow rate. It seems inordinately expensive, but so far it looks good and works well. Home Depot failed in their part of the deal. We paid extra for guaranteed delivery and they took their time getting it out to UPS - it arrived too late for the plumber's installation. We had to wait for him to come a second time. That was a nuisance for everyone involved.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by DGerl Very Good "Feel" to It
This faucet is a good-looking, well-constructed piece of equipment, and I'm glad I replaced my 15-year-old faucet with it. The only small irritation I have with it is that it is slightly slower than my old faucet was in turning off the water stream when I release the handle, but that is something I can get used to. Otherwise, I love it!

If you talk to the manufacture service department they will tell you you can not repair this faucet if there is something wrong with it internally even though the part should only be a few dollars and it is a simple fix, they say there is no parts available and you must install a new one.
I repaired one for a customer by using the parts from a new one I had in stock because I could not find any parts for it and they needed it fixed that weekend. It was a simple plastic pop up plunger with 2-O rings but when I called the factory they said there is no reparable parts (Sorry). Now I have a brand new one that needs probably a $5 part but apparently it unusable.
I use a lot of In-Sink-Erator products but they made no effort to help me, so I will not promote there products any longer even after doing so for over 31 yrs that I have been a plumber. Its a customer service issue for me.
This has nothing to do with Home Depot, they have always treated me great.
