Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Tool This product is very well made & a great addition to your tool collection. It's one of those tools that really just feels good in your hand. It delivers plenty of torque and is easy to use. You will need to buy the fitting to hook it into an air compressor hose, but other than that, it's ready to go out of the box. Final note: remember that even though you'll probably have plenty of sockets lying around that will fit this, only use impact sockets. Standard sockets aren't made to handle such torque and a) are hard to remove without destroying the socket, b) will cause greater wear and tear on the tool, and c) will likely shatter in use. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect for the weekend warrior who wants some quality tools I got this for my brother. He works on cars for a living and every now and then we'll take on some auto projects together. Let me first say that this thing is SOLID! Hands down, there is no doubt in my mind that I will need to replace this anytime soon. Hook up the compressor and get your job done. These things are as basic as it comes. 160ft lbs is what this is rated for and it seemed to have absolutely no issues with torquing the bolts on our project car. I recommend this product. It will provide years of use and make your job much easier and quicker. The quality is by for the most dominant aspect on this impact driver. May 20, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Air driven impact wrenches have changed I was using a ½ battery impact to run ‘J bolts’ in and to install patio cover ‘top plates’ lagged to the house. This 3/8” Impact wrench changed that for me, and now the contractors I know. If you’ve already run your air lines, for your air nailer, it’s great to have a light weight tool that uses the same compressor and the same air hose to install the bolts! I’ve found this impact light weight enough to use overhead yet powerful enough to drive a 6 inch lag bolt into a header. It also does a great job driving ‘red head’ style concrete anchors or running the nut down on bottom plate ‘J bolt’. When you’re done ‘constructing’ it can do those light auto repairs. A very versatile tool, for the homeowner, or the professional alike. March 30, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great time Saver This air tool shows promise of quality and value. No where near has bulky or heavy as the older models I used in shop class. It makes short work of any mechanical project thats out in the open. Used it to do seasonal maintenance on my riding mower. With a small 5 gallon air compressor it worked like a charm. At the end of my project just put a couple of drops of hydralic oil into the fitting on the handle. Ready for the next job. You will need a fitting to plug your air hose too. This is a GREAT addition to any DYI's tool collection. March 30, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quite Capable This tool offers solid power in a compact package. I liked the ability to adjust the clockwise and counterclockwise power settings independently. Operation is smooth and relatively quiet, the trigger has a good amount of sensitivity to it, and build quality is nice, too. I've put this impact wrench through a respectable amount of usage in the time I've had it, and it hasn't faltered yet. I would recommend this to someone looking for a compact and capable air wrench with 3/8" drive. June 15, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by impact gun Have used this tool for the last two weeks daily, it works like a champ. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice 3/8" drive, impact wrench. August 27, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easier to use then a 1/2" Impact wrench For most tasks other than taking off lug nuts this impact wrench is nicer to use than a 1/2" impact wrench. Plus it's a big step up in power from a 1/4" 18V impact driver. Works well on a smaller compressor, mine puts out 4.9 cfm @ 90psi and it works well. The compressor does kick on with each use and it will empty the tank quicker than the compressor will fill it. But at the point usually the bolt is stuck or I need a bigger impact wrench to loosen it. May 8, 2013
