Used to change the struts on my Jeep. Didn't have any problems breaking the lug nuts off and loosening the strut bolts. Air ratchet makes short work of a lot hand loosening/tightening. Couldn't have finished the job without these guys. Just wish it came with metric rather than SAE socket set. Instructions for maintenance are pretty minimal unfortunately.

This kit was the first one I saw that meet my needs. I am looking forward to a long relationship with these tools. Ingersoll Rand is one of the top name brands in the present day market.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Kit Durable and powerful. Had no problem using these tools to install lift kit on my 4x4 truck. Plenty of power and I'm using a pretty whimpy compressor. Can't imagine how powerful they'll be with a decent compressor. Definitely recommend this set.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth every cent. Every garage needs an impact wrench, right? But, if you've been shopping for one - we all know how many complaints there are about weak wrenches. This set is a great deal. 1) You get some useful impact sockets. That may not seem like much until you need one and go to find cheap impact sockets will run you $5 and good ones just go up from there. The set included two key sockets I needed, a 3/4 and a 7/8. The 7/8 is a dead ringer fit for my 2012 Ram 1500's lug nuts and the 3/4 I used on a spring compression kit borrowed from a local parts store. Without this gun, there's NO WAY I could have pre-loaded the springs on my truck to fit the new shocks in. No way, no how. Believe me, I tried every angle - including a 2ft cheater bar - before I dared hitting that tool with an impact wrench. It wasn't the springs bending that had me worried - it was when the compression tool itself started bending that I got concerned. Luckily, my trusty compressor and new IR impact wrench got me through the deal - and saved me $300 that the local shop wanted to charge to install the new shocks. Not to mention saved me loads of time and a lot of elbow grease. The ratchet I just viewed as a bonus. But it was unquestionably put to use and I was really glad to have it. I'm not too weak to turn a wrench - but it's nice to just push a button. It's one of those things where you know you can live without it... until you've had it. Now I know I can't live without it. Taking the bolts off the top of the strut was a great example. There's not much space in there. You CAN get in there with a wrench and take it off. I've done that before with a nromal wrench. Back then, ratcheting wrenches were a new thing and like this ratchet I viewed them as something that would be nice but I could live without. Then I got a set of ratcheting wrenches for Christmas and immediately knew I couldn't live without them again. Well, I've taken off these very same bolts with ratcheting wrenches and now with the pneumatic ratchet. I now know I can't live without the pnuematic ratchet... When all was said and done - I swapped the shocks on my 2012 Ram 1500 and replaced them with Bilstein 5100's in less than 2 hours and didn't even get my clothes dirty doing it. That made me a happy camper and the tool set more than paid for itself with just one use. Can't beat that deal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic set! Bought this set based on a suggestion from a good friend. Very happy I did! This was my first pneumatic tool purchase, although I've used friends' tools in the past. Quality out of the box is outstanding, very easy to use, don't even need to think about lever squeeze. Only downside I can think of for this set is that the sockets are all SAE sized... Would have been nice to have an option between SAE and metric.
