This floor is thick and installs easily. The boards link together very tight and it takes only a bit of tapping on stubborn ones to make it seamless. I used a rubber mallet and a piece of connecting board as not to damage the connections. I did need a magnifying glass to read the instructions. No surprises in there either. Be sure to use new saw blades as this stuff is very hard. I burned up 2 10in table saw 200 tooth blades on a 440 sq. foot room. I did have to cut 75% of the boards though.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by rrb55 Impressive product. Looks great and a good price.
The installation of this laminate flooring was not difficult, but for best results I would recommend sketching out the floor to determine the best way to lay the planks. In addition, I used spacers against the wall for the first row and a tapping block designed for this type of flooring. To ensure a professional look, I used a good quality underlayment material placed directly on top of the existing vinyl floor. I planned the layout carefully, followed the instructions and used a cardboard template for difficult cuts around door frames prior to cutting the actual laminate plank. I made most cuts with a jig saw, but also used a radial arm and table saw. All cuts could be accomplished with the jig saw, as this product is easy to cut with a good blade. The end result is a great looking floor that resembles tile and has a better feel for bare feet than the original vinyl floor.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by James The final results are well worth the effort
We are well-pleased with the final appearance of this product in our kitchen. The panels are manufactured very precisely and fit tightly with no visible cracks at joints. We had several people to assist with engaging the interlocking panels which must be carefully assembled. We found it advantageous to use a piece of scrap flooring as a tapping block to close any hair-line cracks without damaging the grooves. In tight spaces we used a flooring pull bar. Once assembled and adjusted, joints were virtually invisible. Care in installing the first three courses is important to success. The finished surface is textured and in color resembles cut, grouted limestone.
The surface seems hard and abrasion resistant, but the panels cut easily with hand or power tools. We were aware that the product color is lighter than the web picture and chose this flooring based on its actual shade.

I bought this for a kitchen renovation and it was easy to work with (with the laminate floor install tools), looks great and has received a lot of compliments. Looks like tile to some who have seen it. I would buy this again! Buy knee pads and your life (knees) will be happier!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by mebeagler Love this flooring!
After searching for almost a year for flooring for our basement , I finally found this online and took the plunge. It is extremely hard to find something that goes with honey pine walls, cabinets, trim, etc. but this did the trick. It is absolutely beautiful. Since we had never installed a click/lock floor before, this was quite easy once you got the hang of it (two sets of hands also help, but not necessary). The clerk at the store recommended an accessory kit which makes everything much easier, so do yourself a favor and get it. Well worth the $17 or so. I would highly recommend this product.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bentrider Was on sale and great value.
Was the slate appearance I wanted, AC-4 durability rating and there are no visible seams when the clik-lok laminate panels were installed. Installers did a fantastic job and the job was done in one day.
