I purchased the DuPont Real Touch Sand Hickory sku# 943-198 about five years ago. I'd like to install this in an adjoining room and have seen that this product is said to be the same. I seem to recall my original purchase as being 10 MM thick but can't find any documentation on that. Is this product the same thickness as the original DuPont? Thanks!

Sounds like my situation, installed it about 5 years ago & wanted to add it to another room. I ordered it online & Its exactly the same, only in a different package without the Dupont name & 50% cheaper. I hope that helps

It is, our main rooms were done in the DuPont Sand Hickory in 2008, we just did a renovation, took a chance and ordered it. It is the same. We love it.

Answer:
Because I had a few defects I went back to my Dupont left overs from several years ago and everything matched up except there was a slight variation in the color. The older boards were slightly lighter. But this added a little more character to the floor.

Thank you for your question. This product is a 8mm thick plank with a 2mm thick pre-attached underlay. This is the same as what was being made under the Dupont name.

the width of the Innovations Sand Hickory boards in the picture do not appear to be 11.52 inches. Is a narrower board, like the one shown, available?

Answer:
There are 2 widths of board on each piece. It is only a picture on a piece of MDF. You can buy far better engineered flooring for the same price. I have a ton of this stuff and wish I would have seen it before buying. The grooves are black shading to look like grooves, all it is is a picture on a flat board.

Answer:
Neither, it interlocks into itself. Very easy to install once you think it through FIRST. Just stagger the size of the starting pieces on each row so that the rows don't all look the same & be sure to measure your room so that your last row isn't a 1-2" strip. Hope that helps.

Answer:
No glue. However, when I was fitting the final pieces in the back of a couple of closets I had to trim the pieces using a table saw and in doing so some parts of the interlocking areas had to be removed. I used a good quality wood glue (sparingly) to keep the pieces attached to each other.

Thank you for your question. Our Sand Hickory Laminate flooring is a floating floor installation and does not get glued. The 8mm thick planks have a tongue and groove click lock system that hold the flooring together and in place.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Troy Love it excellent quality, abit pricey but well worth my project March 22, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Pretty floor I bought this online because it was 1/2 off so I didn't really know what it looked like until I got it. I was pleased that the padding was already connected to the floorboards. That made installation so much easier. I like the width of the planks and the color in the design. The only issue I had is after a couple of days of installing it I found a really long scratch in it. It was pretty significant and I'm not even sure how I did it. It must've been moving furniture but I was hoping that it would be more durable than that. I have laminate flooring in the rest of my house and I have three big dogs and it looks brand-new like when I put it in years ago. So because of the scratch I am being much more careful with this floor. It is in the master bedroom and office which are connected. The price was good I got a special online for half off. So it's really pretty the price is good I just need to be careful when moving things. April 8, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Nice looking floor and sturdy. Bad company back up on installation and documentation There are several problems I see here. I like the material the product is made from but the locking mechanism does not work across the work area. I have several spots the simply came apart over the course of the install, please keep in mind that I have done 3 previous floor installs with little or no problem with HD’s Allure product line. I don’t claim to be perfect but I have taken that into consideration. I have attached the pictures . So I have also included a scanned copy of the “Installation Guide” this document is an absolute joke; it is done in a type that has to be a 3 or 4 type size you cannot read it let alone evaluate the content. There is no Website for the company and unlike many real good organizations that take the time to produce a video - they don’t, not real good place to get tips about the product that make the install possible for people that are capable do it yourselfers and I am. Labeling from Innovations is a real big problem and HD product managers should manage this vendor forward cause they clearly don’t understand the value of simple inexpensive but detailed educational or instructional videos. Overall a D+ rating for this product line and company. I am doing a lot of renovating and they are off the list for now. April 28, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Thanks for making this possible Several years ago we bought the same floor for all but one of our bedrooms. We were unable to do the last floor at the time due to finances. When we were able to finish the last floor, Home Depot did not have the same floor in stock. We wanted the floor to match the rest. We were able to order it through Home Depot from the factory and are very happy with the finished product. Thank you for making it possible. January 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Matched out DuPont laminate perfectly. Easily installed and beautiful! 2008 we purchased DuPont laminate from Home Depot, and that floor still looks brand new. We were starting a renovation and needed to match that floor, we found this laminate in the correct color and ordered it, knowing if it didn't match, we could return it. It matched perfectly. Also, it was just as easy to install as the original DuPont flooring. May 27, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Looks and feels great! I absolutely love the look and feel of this product. We joined our dining room floor with our kitchen and WOW, is all I can say. Thank you! December 24, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great It looks so nice.. I never want Carpet again..I have pretty Throw Rugs around.. I Love It... October 15, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Pretty nice product As the product was on sale it was a good value. However, it took an extra three weeks to get delivered as it was on back order. Installation was tough at times as the snap lock system would come undone at times as you added more pieces. I had to uninstall part of various rows and restart the row over again to make sure it all stayed together. October 26, 2015
