DO THESE STONES FALL APART WHEN YOU CUT THEM WITH THE WET SAW? OTHERS I HAVE DONE DID.

Asked by: SMITTY
No not at all. In fact if trimming a narrow strip to use on the top row, I used a utility knife to cut the size strip I needed and then cut the width with my wet saw and no tiles fell off.

What is the correct tool to use to cut these tiles for correct sizing? Including around light switches?
Asked by: Robin
I used a Dremel with a grinder blade and it did the job, no problems. The tiles did not crack. Remember to use safety googles. I was able to cut out a perfect square with it to fit around an outlet on the wall. It does get dusty from all the material you are removing, keep that in mind.

Himalayan 11.75 in. x 11.6 in. Stone Adhesive Wall Tile Backsplash in White (12-Pack) is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to work with. I did use a wet saw... Easy to work with. I did use a wet saw along with a dremel with a ceramic cutter. Looks great and I'm very pleased with the results. Tiles are kind of expensive but no mastic and no grout is a huge benefit. A few of the tiles had unacceptable blemishes and discoloration but those will be returned.

We decided to upgrade our half bath by removing the old plate glass mirror and install the Inoxia tile to create an accent wall that we finished off with a heavy framed antique mirror and new rubbed bronze faucet and cabinet hardware. The tile installed easily and the seams were undetectable. It was easy to cut with my inexpensive wet saw, but would be difficult to cut smoothly without one. The finished result looked great!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I needed more of this product. Loved the installation and it is beautiful in my kitchen. BUT IT... I needed more of this product. Loved the installation and it is beautiful in my kitchen. BUT IT IS A NIGHTMARE GETTING MORE OF THIS TILE. I purchased this tile in November 2016. In. January 2017 for the past three weeks I have tried to get more of this tile. I have onsite visited 4 stores and called 19 others as I am writing this. THE MOST IMPORTANT ASPECT OF THIS TILE IS THE RUN NUMBER #. The current boxes in the store all have a run number with the most important character being the letter B (which denotes a black color to it). Will not match any other run. So I am looking for pieces. NEEDLESS TO SAY MY KITCHEN TILING IS NOT FINISHED!!!!

The tile covered a problem I had with a discolored bathroom mirror that had been damaged from water on the edge. I used the tile to make a back splash against the lower edge of the mirror. Looks great. I love the results. It saved me buying a new mirror. This tile could also be used to make a frame around an existing unframed mirror for a new look. Just cut the rows of tile from the larger sheet and apply. I used a row of 3 tiles for the look.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Harder to use than it would appear We purchased these to go over our brick fireplace. We were assured it would work fine straight over the brick. Wrong! These tiles would stick to the brick but not well. They slide down the sides and we had a mess. We had to peel it all off and use mortar to put it back on. These are so thin that using a wet saw was difficult. Instead of a 4 hour project it took about 40 hours. The product isn't bad. I think we were given poor advice.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It looks good but was not easy. Speed tiles rather implies that thsee are good for someone not interested in the full fledged aspects of glue, tiling and grout hence my buying them. The directions are unfortunately on the inside of the product so then you learn you cannot actually cut or break the relief stone in reality without some sort of power tool. I rented a 4.5 inch grinder and bought a diamond wheel. It got the job done but it wasn't pretty. The tile looks great. It seems like it is good quality and the glue holds really well. As in don't expect to be able to pry it off the wall to move it easily. My only complaint about these tiles in that filling in some of the edge areas that I actually ran into a height differential that made filling a bit challenging between tiles but like I said, it looks really nice. Additionally I would recommend using a fawn silicone caulk to fill in any gaps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So many small tile backslashes are spaced apart for grout,... So many small tile backslashes are spaced apart for grout, which detracts from the beauty of the tiles themselves. Without grout, you see nothing but the stone, glass or whatever material is used for the tile. Compare this tile with others that have space for grout and you’ll see what I mean.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast and easy It was easy and quick i wish they have straight edge also that way it will be easier because i had to cut it with diamond blade with saw. I still used liquid nail anyway just to make sure and looks great after.
