1 gal. Satin Rubber-Based Aquamarine Swimming-Pool Paint is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pool Paint Fast shipping. Excellent for gunite pools. I use this paint to paint my pool every 3-4 years. Apply when temps are between 65-75 degrees, otherwise, paint thickens. Would not recommend mixing more than one gallon at a time unless you use a sprayer. Great coverage and adherence.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great coverage. Looks very good. Just painted our hot tub a few days ago. The paint went on very well and the coverage was great. Paint was a lot thicker than I expected and it covered any imperfections in the gunite the pool had. The price was very reasonable and less than paint from a pool company.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from NO PRODUCTION DATE I found very little in the way of online reviews of this brand and only read about generic rubber based paints. I recommended this paint because the specifications met my needs. I priced the same paint on Amazon. It is currently priced at $74.47 (by Benjamin Moore). I don't know why there is a much lower price here on Home Depot. As a couple others have said, the paint was lumpy in the bottom of the can (there was no manufacturing date on the can). I had to use a paint stirrer that attached to my electric drill. The lumps recombined with the rest of the paint in about 30 minutes. Just before using the paint each time I re-stirred with the electric drill for a few minutes. The paint went on easy when I used a brush. I brushed the hard to get to places around jets and other fittings. It took me an hour to do that using a roller tray to hold the paint and it applied okay. Next I used a 3/8 " nap roller on the flat surfaces, but the paint thickened up as I worked. I have no idea why it did that because the conditions were the same when I used the brush. That took me about an hour. My hand and wrist got tired using the heavy roller with the thickening paint. I have not finished painting yet because I need to order more paint as the coverage has gone down to 100-150 square feet per gallon. As I said at the beginning, I recommended this paint because I believe it meets my needs. I would not recommend it for its difficulty of application and the much reduced coverage. Instructions say not to thin, but I suggest experimentally thinning a little at a time with Xylene.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pool Paint in old quarts pool rough on your feet After reviewing other paint. The cost and Home Depot paint offered seem fair. My quartz pool is 15 years old. After pressure washing, tile cleaning, blistered pashing, sanding, cleaning, then painted. The paint holds well with my old quartz rough worn which turned aggregate rough on your feet. This helped the pool paint stick and dry after 4 days. It holds very well. Is been 3 weeks and no paint chips noted. Even after brushing the pool and swimming many times. I was paint short. Had to buy more. Still came out ok. Also was able to return the extra unused paint for refund. Not bad for maybe 2 or 3 year solution. Eventually the sun could chip the paint and dissolve it. I would do it again. It was just me and my wife around 3 weeks of work on our free time. A backyard project. My kids said they had a wonderful best ever joyful 4th of july :D.Lot's of diving and happy faces. I ordered 5 gallons. Total paint cost 4 gallons on a 16x34 bean style pool. Low end 3 ft & 8 ft deep pool. Take care!!!
