Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 12 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good product, easy to apply, does the job Used this to renew a home fountain interior and seal some invisible leaks. Very successful and easy to do! Here are some important points: --Do yourself a huge favor and buy a paint stirrer attachment for your electric drill ($5-10). The heavy rubber base is impossible to adequately mix by hand with a stir stick. You'll thank me for this advice! --Apply with a roller for larger areas--goes on smoothly and easily. Use cheap rollers and brushes, and just throw them away when finished. --I followed instructions about curing for seven days, even though it is dry to the touch after 4-6 hours. I assume that's the best thing to do. June 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great for sealing leaks in the roof. I got this because I was getting a roof leak where my roof shingles meet the metal roof. When I got the product I noticed it was thick on the bottom and thin on top, about 1/2 and 1/2. I wanted a thick coat so I dumped out about 1/2 the thin stuff on top and then mixed the 3/4 full gallon. It mixed up very thick and I brushed it on where the roof leaked. Sure enough, about two days later we got a down pour, and, NO LEAK, no leaks at all. I have tried everything else and this WORKS. I got the black because I used it on my roof. June 28, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Would not buy again Product was not mixed at all when it arrived - separated and not able to get it to the proper consistency. Finish faded within a month - just does not hold up. June 24, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Lousy Benjamin Moore pool paint Lousy Home Depot support After being applied the black pool paint leeched out in white patches. I contacted Home Depot where I purchased the paint [ 8 gallons = $500.00 ] and they refered me to Benjamin Moore customer service. BM had no idea what would cause the problem and sent a representative to my home. He said he had never seen anything like it. Sent 1/2 gallon of paint back with him to analize [ this was in June , have heard nothing ].I am out $500.00 in product plus another 450.00 in replacement water. August 25, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product, adjust for rough surfaces! I purchased a property that had a non-functional cement pond which had set empty for over 10 years. After repairing all cracks and holes, I could not get the pond to hold water (there was a heavy pond liner under the cement, but it was apparently damaged). I looked at several products, and settled on this pool paint to complete my project. The pond is approximately 18' X 25' and 20" at it's deepest point. After reviewing the coverage listed, I purchased 3 gallons to do the job. By the time that I had this finished with two coats, I had purchased 11 gallons in total! Now, understand that this was a very ROUGH surface, and had many areas that were rough cement patches (most of them were there when I started) and required a great deal of paint to fill all of the pores. I did the entire job using a brush-with curing time it took approximately two months to complete the job (ordered more paint three times, and have shipping time included... :)). The bottom line-the pond is holding water WONDERFULLY so far! I have a waterfall with a pump and filter, and while I do need to add water periodically-I'm very pleased! September 16, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Satin rubber-based black swimming pool paint This rubber paint was great . I used this to insulate the concrete wall of the boiler room. Stir real good and apply. Goes on smooth. If using indoors wear a mask. For the price it was a good deal ! October 21, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GREAT FOR STOPPING LEAKS I had a leak in my stone waterfall holding trough feeding my pool. I used your paint ( 2 coats) and it worked great. I now plan on using it to coat my waterwall holding tank which leaked and I haven't filled it for about 2 years because of the leak. I expect the same great results. July 23, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Traction I used this product to paint my basement. It has a consistancy of tar until it is mixed, which takes quite a bit of constant stirring. You cannot reuse a roller or brush because it is so sticky. It paints very evenly and has a flat finish. The only negative is that it has a lingering odor. I think if you used it outside that the odor would probably disipate much faster. One can painted my 250ft basement. October 19, 2009
