I asked this back in January and the question was "answered" but not answered! I don't want to know how many SF is in one peel and stick 12in x 12in tile (I can figure that out for myself!). I want to know how many squares (tiles) are in EACH 12in x 12in wall tile. The picture show a square that contains, what appars to be, 6 squares across and 6 squares going down. Is this picture one 12in x 12in tile or does the actual 12in x 12in tile have larger squares, say only 4 (2 across and 2 down)??

12 in. x 12 in. Peel and Stick Brushed Stainless Metal Wall Tile is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 12.

It is $11 for 1 sq ft with 4 little tiles. What a ripoff. Also I thought it will come with the brush nickel and black inlaid pattern. As is turns out, it comes with 4 squares of the brush nickel only. The picture is very misleading. I am very disappointed and will return it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A dream to install If you are not handy, or just want a simple task to improve the look this backsplash tile is great. So easy to install, you can have professional look without calling a professional. Peel stick and you are done. I did not have to make any cuts, so I can't speak to that. Be careful with placement, no second changes. Once it is on it is not coming off. I put it on drywall and existing tile, both worked well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks nice on the wall The tile looks nice on the wall and is fairly easy to install. Once it's up, it's up and there is no moving it however. Also, we found it hard to cut and have it look right so we were not able to piece in where needed and we will either have to find trim pieces to finish or just paint where needed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Can be difficult if you don't plan ahead I ordered 22 sheets. Five of them had at least one tile misplaced in the pattern (not 90 - degrees brush pattern). Had to cut the individual out and install it separately. Do make sure each pattern of each sheet is correct before installing. I installed my first sheet and had to pry out the bad tile, which was not easy without damaging the adjacent tiles. The aluminum looks nice but is very thin and dentable if you are not careful. Good for residential looks, NOT an industrial product made to take abuse like stainless steel in a restaurant. The tiles cut easily with a saw. Backing is VERY tacky, be sure of your placement and alignment. Double check your heights of your counter on each side of your oven before going across from one side to the other. More obstacles in the project than I originally thought but overall I am happy with the results.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to apply- looks great Product differs between store product and on line - I underestimated the amount needed and to pick an additional two more packages at store. Product is 1/3 less expensive through on- line (doesn't really make sense). Great product though - easy to apply, looks great

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It Sticks! The Tile is not super resistant to dents. The stainless is very thin and dents easily, we even had a few that were dented from the underside of the stainless, not from the back of the tile. When installing we used a table saw to cut the tile and it worked very well (cuts like butter). For the electrical box openings we used a Dremel Multi Max, first covering the face of the tile with masking tape so you could see the layout lines and for protection from the Multi Max blade if I missed. The sticky backing has no mercy what so ever. I first placed the first tile in the incorrect location. I went to pull it up from the wall and it took the drywall paint and paper with it. One time I went to cradle the tile with both hands adhesive side up. It folded up like a sandwich sticking the backs of the tiles together. Once again the sticky back is incredible on the stuff. The bad to the sticky back being so sticky is that it makes it a bit difficult to get the edges perfectly butted up. On another note a few of the tile we ordered, full rows were not lined up so we had to place some tiles one row at a time to get it installed so there were no gaps between each full tile. Also when shipped they were just shrink wrapped and many of the tiles had big dents and dings on the corners from shipping. Once again we were able to make those work by using those in areas that needed to be cut anyways. Perfect for an office, reception desk environment with min traffic. I would be unsure about using these in a kitchen or public area where there is more of a chance to get dented.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to apply and nice looking! This product works as specified. It is much easier to put up compared to traditional (ceramic) tile and looks great. Cutting the tiles (to fit around outlets, etc) is fairly easy as the tiles are not too hard or thick. I did most of the cuts with a hacksaw and miter box although a small hand held power cutting tool would have been easier. The mosaic pattern really enhances a kitchen back splash in a kitchen with stainless steel appliances. As with any tile it is important to ensure that the surface is prepped/cleaned before installing. As far as durability, the tiles don't look like they could withstand the abuse standard ceramic tiles can but since it is a back splash I don't foresee that being an issue. All in all a very nice addition to the kitchen for a small cost.
