Answer:
Hi Michelle,
Peal and stick tile needs a very smooth even surface to adhere well. Unfortunately an existing tile surface makes a poor backing for new peal and stick tile, in many cases it will fall off.

Answer:
Hi Lucille,
Mold will develop in the many small grout lines making cleaning the area much worse.
Use larger tiles with fewer grout lines.

Customer Reviews

Rated 2.5 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Twice worst online purchase if have ever experienced Ordered once, first package arrived in totally destroyed box with absolutely no packing material. Tiles smelled as if they were stored in a musty basement for years. Returned for refund. Ordered again and second order was just as bad as the first. Would not recommend this to anyone July 7, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice tile but color varies This natural stone tile is very nice and unique in my opinion. I have not seen too many backsplash tiles that are not simply square mosaics, this adds that extra touch to an otherwise ordinary backsplash. However, the color of the tiles varies a lot, I ordered four times as many as I needed and returned the rest just so I could go through it and leave for myself the ones that looked the same. The little brown squares are not always brown and some tiles don't have brown in them at all and are all the same uniform color, then others are more grey than beige. I understand that this is a ntural stone but I can't have my backsplash look completely different in one place versus another place, so be mindful of this. Another thing to mention is that the self-adhesive backing is not a strong adhesive and I foolishly did not use glue when I had it installed and the tile starting coming off in a few places, like peeling off, so I had it glued in those places. Otherwise, it is a good looking tile with a good price and it does not need grouting. June 28, 2015
