We had just purchased our 100 year old dream home when three weeks in all the drains on the back half of the house stopped working. After reading the reviews and seeing there was a money back guarantee so I had nothing to lose, I decided to give this stuff a try. Although optimistic, I didn't think it would really work very well. Guess what? It worked amazing!! I'm going to keep a few bottles around "just in case" from now on.

I was desperate...Upstairs bathtub would not drain AT ALL. Same with downstairs shower. A close friend of mine suspected that a tree root was the culprit. Knowing that I'm on a limited budget and the cost of having a plumber come out to investigate, diagnose and fix the problem would likely run many hundreds of dollars, I decide to give this stuff a try (after reading the many excellent reviews posted on here - thanks folks!)
I followed the directions and flushed with hot water after 8 hours (overnight) and VIOLA, both the tub and shower drain like new. I cannot put into words how amazing this product is. If you have a severe blockage, PLEASE do yourself a favor and give this stuff a shot. You really owe it to yourself, and your pocketbook. 10 STARS!!!!!

I temporarily lost my mind and flushed paper towels down the toilet, which got lodged in the main line. What ensued was not a pretty situation. After wasting money on an auger and several other solutions, I poured two gallons of this stuff down my kitchen sink drain 8 hours apart, followed by hot water each time, and everything is running smoothly again! Amazing!

My clog was in the main line of my 100 + year old home water was backing up from toilets into the bathtub.I used one gallon and no results I used the second gallon and it opened right up. If I would have followed directions on first bottle it probably would have worked. Follow directions and be patient you will be amazed.

I spent two days under the house replacing all the waste lines except the main with PVC. When I finished I found that over the years, the old cast lateral line connecting the washer and sink to the main was completely stopped up with kitchen grease. I first tried another major brand drain opener and after eight hours, nothing. Bought this product from Home depot for less than twelve dollars and so thankful I did. Another eight hours and did five loads of laundry with no problems. Great stuff. Worth every penny. l sure didn't want to crawl under the house again.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by stevesul Worked for my very slow drain
Our downstairs bathroom clogs up every 7-8 years. I knew it was not the line to the street since the rest of the house was working fine. (We have a huge maple in our front yard and old clay sewer pipes...so we deal with roots once in a while). There was no backup in the utility/sink washer in the basement.
This one line is for an addition so the bathroom is the only thing using it. I tried my 6 foot closet auger going through the toilet but no luck. There is a stand up shower in that bathroom so I tried snaking it from there (the water was backing up into there and draining out slowly over a few hours). That is what worked the last time. No luck.
I bought a bottle of this and dumped it in at 5pm. 6am the next morning, I ran hot water for the shower and sink for 10 minutes. Also flushed the toilet 5x...all fixed.
This stuff works and I am going to buy a bottle of this to have on-hand next time. $10 versus dealing with a disgusting mess trying to snake sewage backup or even worse, $200+ for a plumber.
If you do not have safety google or rubber gloves, walk over to that aisle and pick some up. This stuff is hard core and you want to pour it in very slowly and not spash it.
The only minor con is time for it to work...you need to leave it in for 8 hours or longer. So if this happens a few hours before you are having people over, you need to snake.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by NDubs87 Yes, it really works!!!
Had a clogged line that drained both the kitchen sink and washing machine (farther down the line). The washer must have caused a buildup of debris (fuzz, lint, fur) over the years that combined with any grease that escaped from the kitchen sink. I was only able to use about a 1/2 gallon of water before the pipes started backing up and was extremely slow to drain. Tried various crystal drain cleaners with no effect and was about to take the next step and borrow the neighbor's snake. Saw this and figured it was worth a shot with the money back guarantee and bought two gallons. Poured the first gallon in and left it for 8 hours. Then, I poured a few gallons of boiling water in and was surprised that all of it drained. Left the hot water running for another 5 minutes and still no backup. Will be trying the washing machine tonight and also now have a second bottle for future clogs. This stuff works as advertised! FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS!
