You want to put it in the drain furtherest from the septic system to be sure it gets to the clog. It is so safe you can put it in any drain in the house. Answer:
Yes, you can use it in the drain behind the washer, that's usually between your hot and cold faucets for the machine. I guess the people above think you want to pour it into the washer, but yes, you can pour it into the drain. remove the drain hose from the drain, and pour directly into the drain.

Answer:
You should only pour into a shower or sink drain, as it can damage many types of surfaces and should be used with as little water as possible.

Answer:
No, you should not use Main Line Cleaner directly in your washing machine cleaner. We recommend pouring the entire gallon of Main Line Cleaner directly into the bathtub drain, let it stay in the drain overnight, and run hot water down the drain in the morning. Yes. Put it in the lowest affected drain, but not the toilet. Let it work for 8 hours before trying to run water.

Yes, Main Line Cleaner should help (unless the problem is tree roots in the line). Do not use in toilet.

Answer:
Patsy, the product is safe to use, but try 3 cups first, followed by the boiling water, to see what happens before pouring the whole gallon in. If those 3 cups do the job, then leave it at that. Use the remaining on other clogs in the future.

Thank you for the question. Yes, you can use Main Line Cleaner for your main sewer line pipe. You may need more than one gallon depending on how far down the line you think the clog is. You can estimate, one gallon of Main Line Cleaner per 15 -20 feet. If you have any more questions, please don’t hesitate to call our Instant Power Help Line at 1-800-613-4242. Thank you!

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 182 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by It worked for me I had a tough clog that a plunger couldn't handle. I bought a 25' auger and that didn't help me either. The clog must have been really far down the line. I poured a container of this down the pipe under my kitchen sink and let it sit for 24 hours. After the 24 hours I ran hot water down the sink and the clog was still there. But after plunging for maybe 60 seconds, it dislodged. When this happened before, we had to call the plumber. So this saved us a bunch of money. October 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by We've had issues off and on for years with tree roots, and I had used Root-X last April after the plumber cleared the line, so I didn't understand the issue coming back last week. I tried three different drain cleaners (including two bottles of sulfuric acid - safe for PVC), a drill powered auger, a closet auger, checked both vents (me up on a ladder on a two story house - that was nerve racking!), and after two days, I finally bought this stuff. I let it sit overnight, set the timer to get up at 5.20a to pour near boiling hot water in the toilet and the bathroom sink closest to the main line (four large pots - two in the loo and two in the sink - SLOWLY), and it worked!!! I was hesitant to believe it at first, but after flushing one toilet, then running the washer, and then flushing another toilet, all with no burps or back-ups, I became a firm believer. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by It works! With patience... It took two days and two bottles, but this stuff works. Don't waste your time and/or money on other methods (physical or chemical). If you have a clogged line, this will fix it if you are patient. Saved me a hefty plumber bill. October 15, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I Tried It afer all the postive review. It didn't work for my problem I was researching products, because I had been having problems with my guest restroom plumbing.I bought this product used it as directed No results. However the company is true about their Money back GUARANTEE,I received my check a week after emailing them. Good luck it doesn't hurt to try it. October 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Another positive review I too have an older house, with 4" ceramic pipes under the house connecting to the public underground drain. There is a sunken crack that collects debris over time, too far from the basement overflow valve to snake it myself. . I did use two applications of this product, but it did the job. Saved me thousands $. Professional repair estimates were astronomical. September 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I'm a believer! I used this product to unclog my main sewer line. One bottle didn't work, but the second application cleared the drain ... saving me hundreds of dollars in plumbing bills! I'm so happy I discovered this product, and would recommend it to anyone with a stubborn clog. It works! September 27, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by It works I really can't say if one bottle works because i bought two and poured both directly into my cleanout. At $11 per bottle I figured that I got off light compared to $100 per hour plumbers. I allowed mine to sit from 10p-7a and when i removed the rubber cap from the cleanout, everything was gone and water was flowing properly. It works. September 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by It helped It helped clear some of my clogging problem but ultimately it needed to be rodded out. I would use it again because it did clear out my wash basin line. September 6, 2016
