What is the Difference between products

Why would I want to use the Slow Drain Build-Up Remover product over the Commercial Drain Cleaner? The Commercial Drain Cleaner seems to say that it works faster. Does it have more limited applications?
Asked by: HomeDIYer50
Slow drain is for home use primarily for soap, grease, food or paper build up in your drains. Commercial drain cleaner is primarily for kitchen drains that have grease build up and a grease trap. Both are biological and will take a while to work. If you have a totally clogged drain go with a chemical drain opener.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product! I use this as an alternative to toxic chemicals and it does work. But you must remember to use it on a regular basis and not wait till you have a blockage. And;s there's no awful smell like you get when you use acid.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does what is says it will I was a bit skeptical, but it worked. I had a very slow draining toilet and even a mini-auger that a handyman tried wouldn't resolve the issue. I could've easily had a plumber snake the toilet, but when the plumber (and I may say thank you Dick Ray Plumbing for being so helpful in recommending I do this when you could've easily charged me for a visit) asked if it's possible the person using the toilet was not flushing every single time and thinking they were saving money in doing so, that can cause crystallization of urine which can in turn clog and sometimes completely kill a toilet to the point that you'd have to replace the entire toilet. But this product resolved it! A few tablespoons every few days, a little patience, and VOILA! The toilet flushes now! I'm very happy with this product!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of Money This product did nothing for me. It is absolutely useless. Normally I use Drano Max Gel, which works every time, however, at the time of purchase it was unavailable so I went with this product - well, that was money down the drain. Over a span of three weeks I used the entire jug, adding a portion every other day before bed time as the label suggests, and this product did nothing for my slow draining tub. Waste of money.
