Customer Reviews

SHD Series 54 in. 12-Drawer Cabinet, Black is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from International 54" SHD I have received my 54" SHD. I have spent a week going over it as it gets packed with tools. The end caps for the drawer handles bind on the drawer lock system. They must be left less than all the way on. The drawer lock system does not have any spring back, only gravity that makes it feel a little chinsy but still a decent lock set up. The stainless top is a little thin but decent (people love it) and only $200 to replace as where Snap On is about $700 and very strong. The wheel set up is no less than outstanding except you will have to work the paint loose from the brakes. Loaded it rolls extremely well. The roller bearing drawer glides work well but not so well that the drawers want to take off on you. You can count on the drawers staying open where you leave them. The keyed entry system is a little rough, not greased and gritty. It does seem to have a few tumblers making it hard for some one to pick. If your on uneven ground you may have to move the box to get it to work. The paint job is weak compared to ANY other box. Its closer to a powder coat. You can pay Snap On over $4800 for the box $700 for the top and $500 for those wheels to get ALL the premium details....For today's economy it will suit. MY thanks to SPG.
