Is the handle "threaded" so we can attach an extension, similar to the #8340 kit?

The scoop is not threaded like the Gutter Grabber. If you order the kit you can use the Gutter Grabber to pull the debris to you then scoop it out of the gutter. Thank you for your interest in our products!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Worked well, but required some patience My roof shingles overhang the inner edge of the gutters a bit, so I had to squeeze the Gutter Getter to get it down into the gutter. Used a brush to get roofing grit and leaves into the Gutter Getter, then squeezed the Gutter Getter again to carefully remove it from the gutter, then dumped everything into a bucket. Kind of a slow process, but it got the job done. Might be better if the product was slightly narrower, and flatter on the bottom instead of curved. Good value at $4.04 at Home Depot. March 29, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect tool for the job I have narrow, deep gutters that fill with leaves during the two seasons in Northern California: sun and rain. This is the perfect tool for the job. The bottom is rounded, but pressing down a bit scrapes the bottom to clean it out. It even goes *under* the gutter supports to keep scooping without stopping. The plastic does scrape easily, so this tool won't last forever, but it should last long enough to make it worth the cost until I buy another one. December 29, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Waste of Money Plastic is very thin and flexible, would not hold up to the contents in my gutter without collapsing. Don't waste your time or money with this thing. June 23, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by OK, But a Few Cautions... Note the bottom is an ARC (i.e., it is NOT flat, so you must depress/flex it against the bottom of your gutter to maximize its soil capture). In practice, a substantial amount is left behind "in the corners." I guess they were trying to accommodate those with both rounded and flat-bottom gutters by making it of THIN plastic and having users "flex" it flat for square gutters. The thin gauge plastic tells you it won't last long. I'd try to get a flat-bottomed one if I were you. I found myself up on a ladder w/ a narrow brush to try to "sweep" more debris into it, like a dustpan, since using it as a "scoop" is inefficient, as mentioned above. Round-bottomed gutter owners will be OK. The tool's NOT saving me the time I had in mind. Scraping w/ a wide putty knife was not that much less efficient, as it turns out! December 31, 2014
