With the first production InvisiDoor hidden storage, you are no longer forced to pay custom prices and suffer through long delays for a hidden storage. InvisiDoor hidden storage can be used as a functional storage as well as a picture or mirror. The unique slide allows the frame to slide to reveal a compartment to place valuables or documents. Made with only premium plywood and domestic hardwoods with adjustable shelves. Glass/Picture not included.

What is the minimum opening size for this to fit? and is the door a mirror or a picture frame?
What depth is the unit in a wall or how deep does the opening have to be at a minimum?

Answer: 
Thank you for your question!! This unit is designed to fit in a wall cavity with the sliding door exposed, based on the recessed dimension your rough opening should be anywhere from 1/4" - 1/2" bigger width and height. The actual recessed depth is 3-7/8" which fits into a standard depth wall cavity plus 1/2" depth drywall. The sliding door is just the frame only, no picture or mirror
