9-1/2 in. Double-Edge Pull Saw is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a great value ryoba saw. I have used this saw for a few months now and am very happy with the performance. It cuts clean in hardwood and softwood. It does take a bit of time to learn the proper technique for 2 handed pull saws but well worth the effort. I wouldn't rely on the rip side for all ripping needs but it does work decently. So far, the blade has stayed sharp, and I haven't lost any teeth under light to moderate use. I have found this to be an excellent value ryoba saw as other premium ones usually start at twice the cost. For those who are curious, this saw is made in Japan.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good until handle breaks Worked great until the handle broke. Buy a different brand instead. 2 stars because it only lasted 1 year of light use.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from good blade - lousy handle I've had a Japanese pull saw for years. I picked this up thinking it would be similar. The blade is fine. However, in just a few months, the button that holds the blade became very loose. A month later, when I was cutting some palm fronds, the blade pulled out completely. The blade is still very sharp. The handle would no longer hold the blade in place. The handle had actually split where the blade goes in, and could no longer hold the blade. I used JB Weld ( an epoxy product I have used for many years) to glue it back, and clamped it overnight. I thought all was well, however in just a few uses the handle gave way again. Its a very poor handle design. I'm taking it back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazingly sharp saw! Cuts lunbers so well. I've owned more than several kids of hand saws in my life, but this one is the best saw. It also allows you to cut things so accurately, thanks to the shape of saw. Highly recommeended!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from one time use I have 2 of these saws. Initially they work great then the teeth starting breaking off. After a few weeks this saw becomes more trouble than it is worth. So i bought a second one and was very careful using it, no nails, no brads, no staples. When I hit a knot in the wood bang, lost a tooth. Disappointing for sure. What happened to QUALITY?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this saw I have used this to cut trim, baseboard, nails, tile and various other items. I love them. They are flexible and sharp. I saw one reviewer state that the teeth break off. I have never had that happen, but have dulled the edge by using on tile. My only complaint is that they do not sell replacement blades or handles. You have to go out and buy a whole new saw whenever part of it needs to be replaced.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Higher quality than expected for the price. This saw performed as well as some Japanese saw I have used. A very good value.
