I used this wood filler to fill the door lock screw hole to refit the lock. When i try to remove the broken screws from the door the hole become big and not able to fix the screws again. This wood filler works great. This saves the cost of new door. Good quality product.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by HDKevin Great way to fill gaps and spaces. A little goes a long way
I had a unusual shaped area to fill in next to basement stairs that needed to be filled and painted. I found the Kwikwood and tried it out. It mixed and molded easily. I allowed it to dry for 24 hours before I sanded it. It painted easily and has not cracked or chipped. Would definitely use again

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sanchez JB Weld does it again!
I recently dropped a $1200 guitar and dented the back of the neck pretty bad. I've used JB Weld in the past so I went with this, I couldn't be happier! It's ready to sand in 40 minutes, and once I finished fine sanding the neck you cant feel the dent at all. After that I repaired an acoustic guitar bridge where the bridge pin holes were stripped out to large. I filled the holes in completely with qwik wood, in 45 minutes I re-drilled the holes and the new pins fit perfect. I will always keep a tube of this handy for any other wood repair projects, you simply cant beat it!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by burkeman probably the best available for outdoor use
Tried this and the Elmer's "Max" product to fill knot holes in 2x4 deck boards. The J-B product is superior in hardness to Elmer's and better overall. It's more a little more difficult to clean up, is not cheap and comes in a fairly small amount. For a relatively small amount of filling, especially outdoors, this is the best I've used.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Noel BETTER THAN BONDO!
I was a professional painter and wood repair technician for 10 years. I have used Bondo for most dry rot repair, but stumbled upon this product in Home Depot and decided for $4.00 I'd give it a try. At first I tried to only fill a large hole with it and when I saw how hard it dried in 20 minutes I decided to go grab another tube and totally complete the repair. It sands easily and takes paint like a champ. You can tell there was a repair made in the spot, but it was better than replacing an entire 4X4 structural post on a front porch!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mams Use this filler
I had had high quality kitchen cabinetry, however, what appear to be installer's poor work, some doors started to fall off after heavy use in 2 years. This was out of warranty and need a solution to refit that cabinetry doors. I tried using Durham's hard rock water putty, while my past experience with this putty was good, it didn't work well since screw hole were deep and vertical so pushing loose putty was difficult, didn't completely fill the holes and didn't work well. Having unsuccessful first time, I was very reluctant to try other product. After reading review at home depot, I decided to purchase this product.
It was easy to use. I used u-clip to push the epoxy as much as I could to give full coverage. Used Husky's 14 in 1 Painter's tools to level the surface
After a week or so, doors are holding. It appear to me that it will work. I would recommend this product for all potential applications for filling.
Only complaint is that they should clearly say that this is 2 part epoxy, where this cylindrical epoxy consist of inner core and out core and you cut them carefully and mix it. It will not take a second to figure this out; I thought it would be useful to mention it in packaging. I thought that would make buying decision easy, since I was concern that once packaging is opened, we have to consume it in full.
Also some sort of compatible, plastic tool, included with the product, might be handy help for small projects.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Saberrog Better than wood glue for fixing damaged screw holes
Had a cabinet drawer slide that fell off 1 too many times. First we tried using larger screws then they stripped out, the the wood filler putty, lasted maybe 2 weeks. Someone at Home Depot recommend this product and it really does the job. There is no way those screws are coming out now. Working great on the screw holes for hinges on a door frame too.
