Love the look of these doors. Nice shaker style but angle around the panels slightly softens the look. Better than a hard 90 degree angle. We installed 5 pre-hung and also hung 2 slabs in the doorway into the den. I really wanted something different from the standard 6 panel and these are the best! Love them!

As a previous homebuilder with nine years of experience, I have an eye for quality and attention to detail. I waited awhile to review these but shouldn't have. I purchased 14 doors. They were on sale at the time and my wife and I had purchased these solid core craftsman doors to replace the hollow core ones in our home we are slowly remodeling. The doors arrived on a skid and completely wrapped in plastic which made them impossible to view for damage. We accepted them and brought them home. I began to install them and noticed exposed trim nails first. Not a problem as I figured I would just break them off and hammer them in and wood fill. Then I noticed a warped door, so I put that one for a closet door. The sticking is also barely tacked on and not square as the previous reviewers had mentioned. The sticking is also bowed so the door does not seal square against it. I also believe the strike plate is bored incorrectly so when you install a lock set the door rattles inside the strike. Make sure to get adjustable strikes with the bend tab so the door will close silently. Some doors have the hinges inset inside the door cleanly following the hinge, while a few are simply screwed to a bored out rectangular inset. While the doors are a huge improvement to the standard flat hollow-core doors we had, the price of these doors is high considering the build quality. They don't have these in stock in the store so be careful ordering and know that they will be flawed and need repairs once purchased. I'll try to add some images later if possible.

I ordered seven of these doors, a mix of hollow and solid core depending on the room. I finally got around to installing the first one and have to say that it looks great. Modern but also retro at the same time, much better looking than the builders standard 6 panel arch doors.
I have to agree with other reviews thought that the quality could be better. I've only taken one our of the box so far, but noticed a few small things like the door stop not fully nailed at the bottom, trim nail holes exposed, a few nicks in the frame probably from shipping. Nothing major but you expect more given the price and the brand. Only other issue was having to wait about six weeks for delivery to the store.
All in all, a great looking door and worth it.

Love this style door. It is a solid core door. Beware don't think just because it is solid core that you can trim more than 1/4 inch from either long side without cutting into a different type of core wood. Solid core doesn't mean the entire door is a solid sheet of the same wood. It just means the door is filled with a sort of compressed wood to make the door not seem hollow. This is fine and most door manufactures do this. Just trying to save you from making the mistake I did by trying to cut too much off the door.

Love the door. We are ordering more to replace all the interior doors in our home. Easy to install. Looks great!

The door itself was good - solid and in good condition. However, the frame was cheap and tacky with lots of dings and dents. The frame needs a lot of work to look half decent.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by 4PJL Good value for a nice-looking door.
The design is very attractive. The installation went smoothly. I'm happy with the final result and will likely order more for my home. This was my first door install and it is an achievable project for people with minimal skills and a bit of patience. I watched several YouTube videos to learn how to perform the installation in an existing home. The door installation isn't the time-consuming part, it's removing the old door, patching the wall, and finally re-applying trim after installing the door. I probably took me 8 hours start to finish.
Some things to be aware of:
- the door's finish is flat. There is no simulated wood grain. While this is attractive, I had difficulty painting without showing brush marks. Eventually, I got a "paint flattener" product that I poured into my paint can. The paint stays "open" for longer periods of time. This helped but didn't eliminate the problem. I pre-painted the door and molding before installation.
- the trim/door jam that comes with the door is pre-primed. The issue is the surface is very rough and should be sanded before applying final paint. I would have appreciated a smoother surface to same me time.

I bought these doors when they were on sale. So, no comlaint on the design and quality of the door itself compared to the price I paid.
One thing that gave me trouble was misalgnment of the pre-bored holes for the door lock on the door and the door jamb. They are misalgned by about 3/16" - just about the gap between the door top and the door rail. They may have forgotten this gap and just set their machine to cut the slots and holes at the same position on the door itself and the door jamb. I am very disappointed that such a big company can make such a simple mistake.
