Door and jamb was delivered to a local Home Depot damaged. Told me I cant get a discount unless I reorder the door and wait another 30 days. I ended up taking the door. Install wasnt bad but the bottom hinges were ripped out of the door and the hole in the jamb for the knob didnt line up.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Deborah Love my doors!
Ordered and bought 5 solid core and took 2 hollow core off the floor. Love all of them. Great style being that we came from luan doors that looked cheap and were chipped at the bottom. My handyman installed them a month ago and they look great. Just painting the doors and trim now and they look even better. For the money, this style is classic and looks expensive. The ordered solid doors were double the price but well worth the investment. I wish I had bought all solid doors. Looking for closet sliding doors to match,

I definately prefer this door type to the split jam approach. Goes in much easier and is more stable during the install. To an extent, you get what you pay for. The hing screws are very short. So if you have to remove the door during the install, be very careful removing and resetting. You don't want to strip the screw hole, which is very short. But my install took about one hour, which included trimming the door and frame because this is an old house and the existing space was a little short. But with that said, once I had the lengths right, it dropped right in and trued up very easily. Setting and nailing the door actually took about 20 minutes! You will have to do your own trim work with this type of frame. But, for me, that is the fun part. Finished door looks great. And for the money, that is all you can ask for. Very good for the budget conscious remodeler who wants a quality and unique look and feel.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by nyaptguy Great door, challenging experience
The only reason this door isn't a 5 is because it came with 2 significant cracks in the frame that the door was pre-hung on, and getting home depot to sort out the re-order of just the frame (the door itself takes 6 weeks to fabricate) was beyond difficult. Also have no way of knowing who was responsible for the damage - the door was delivered right to my home depot store, and then I paid home depot to deliver to my apartment. All that said, the door looks awesome and way more expensive than it actually was, so it's a great value. Can't comment on ease of installation because my contractor did it, but I'd definitely buy this door again.

We have had great success with Jeld-Wen products in the past but not so much with interior doors we bought that are pre-hung. They are not fitted well in the pre-hung jambs. There are gaps at the tops of some doors and others do not shut flush. Very disappointing. Doors looked like they were hanging in a 100 year old house. Our contractor complained and Jeld-Wen did come out to replace. However, the replacements are not all that good either, though better than the others.

Nice quality door. Solid core makes a big difference in how the door feels and operates.
