Answer:
Yes, but they will require sanding to remove the primer. These are really "paint grade" doors so the woodgrain may not be to your liking. They probably won't accept stain evenly either. I'd recommend trying a test on the back of the door first before proceeding.

Answer:
No you can't. They can only be painted. You need to buy solid wood doors if you want to stain.

What measurements do I need? How many bifold doors? And what about the tracks? Any info would be greatly appreciated as I am a total rookie at this.

Answer:
It can be done but you'll need to close the cap by 2". You could use some 5/4 wood to do that, Store SKU #627543, you'll have to trim it to fit the width. Then finish the inside/outside edge with some door casing Store SKU #711707. I would price both ways.
Or you could look into having a custom door made.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Seriously? Good looking door, reasonable price, but when I unpacked the 32 in bi-fold door, I discovered it had a 36 in track. I took the track back to the store, and was informed that "that's just the way they come....you have to cut it." When I pointed out that cutting it would remove the hole at the end necessary to secure the track to the frame, the response was, "I guess you have to drill a new one." Seriously? The instructions do not indicate that you must alter the track prior to installation, and that all you need for installation is a screwdriver and hammer. Now I need a hack saw and a drill bit. It's not ready to ready to install. Very disappointed. July 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 6-Panel Hollow Core Molded Interior Closet Bi-fold Door Love these folding doors. They match my 6 panel doors exactly and they open and close smoothly. Paintable and finish beautifully. June 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by REAL SPACE SAVER THIS PRODUCT WAS INSTALLED IN A SMALL BATHROOM WITH AJOINING BEDROOM. BECAUSE OF STRUCTURAL ISSUES, A POCKET DOOR WAS NOT A CONSIDERATION, AND BECAUSE OF SPACE LIMITATIONS, A FULL SIZE DOOR WAS CONSIDERED TO BE INAPPROPRIATE. THIS PRODUCT REALLY FIT THE BILL. IT IS WELL MADE; THE 6 PANEL DECOR IS ATTRACTIVE, AND IT OPERATES EASILY. April 14, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by The packaging was perfect, however, after opening and install started, I noticed a chunk out of the of the other door. I informed store 934 millworks I was quite suprised when I found the defect on the second of the bi-fold doors after installation was started. It was too late to take down and return. Proceeded to repair and finish. I later returned to store 934 in Phillipsburg, N.J. and reported problem to millworks dept. asso. October 27, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Doors are solid & look great even without painting. The doors are primed for painting but look so good, that I can put off the painting until it is warmer. The dimensions listed were perfect and allowed me to order the correct doors after my measurement. I hired my handyman to install, but after seeing the completed job, I probably could have done it myself. I joked about the doors being delivered by a slow boat from China, because they did take about 5 weeks for delivery. The doors seem solid and very well constructed. The wooden knobs that came with the door looked a little cheap, so I ended up buying new antique brass knobs from Home Depot. I am very happy with my purchase and the online ordering system provided by Home Depot. February 25, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Some Installation Problems Two installation issues: 1.) I constructed the finished opening to 81-1/2 inches on the Jen Weld installation information that the height clearance had to be 1-1/2 inches. The door height is listed as 80 inches in many places, actually it is 79 inches so I had to add a 5/4 board to the top of the opening. 2.) I had to adjust the position of the upper pivot and then I couldn't get it to stay where I wanted it. Either the track or the pivot bracket deforms and the locking screw can easily be over-tightened. After that, the pivot can't be locked in place. I have encountered many Jen Weld bifold doors over the years and the locking screw that anchors the upper pivot location is always a problem. I replaced the pivot locking screw with a 2 inch wood screw and drilled a pilot hole through the track. I think it will hold but I shouldn't have to MacGyver a brand new one. September 25, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to replace existing doors I was replacing a 30-yr old set of 48" bi-fold pantry doors. I removed the old track and hardware and replaced with new. Everything fit perfectly. Once I hung the doors, it only took a few minutes to adjust the level. I did make the mistake of installing the hardware on one of the doors upside down. Be careful not to do this as it is difficult to remove the hardware from the doors once installed. I was able to remove the hardware and re-install correctly without any damage to the hardware or the door. The new doors look great! September 6, 2016
