The door casing that is in my house now is made for my six inch wall. There are no splices or added extensions so I don't know if you carry this type or just those for four inch walls.

They have an extension jam trim available at home depot. It adds 2 inches to the door. You take the brick mold off of the exterior of the door, nail the extension jam on and reinstall the brick mold. The part number/sku number is

good luck

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 18 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by I bought 3 of these doors (different widths/swings) and although overall quality is decent, the screws that attach the hinges to the door had to be re-done on all 3 doors. For some reason the screws were in at an angle, so the heads interfered so the doors would not close properly. Easily fixed, but a clear QC issue. Other than that, it's a good door at a reasonable price October 25, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good purchase It is a nice door, not the best looking front door, but it does the job. October 4, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent product at a competitive price! Very easy to install and level. Overall an excellent installation. August 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good Door for the Money First, this door was very easy to install. I like the fourth hole for the hinges. The weatherstripping is very snug. When it comes time for the lockset and deadbolt there was one problem. The deadbolt metal strike-plates did not fit the door routed openings. The strike-plates were larger than the door cutouts. Unfortunately you cannot enlarge the routed because the edge of the door has a metal edge. I snugged up the strike-plates as best I could and fortunately the strike-plates dod not rub when closed (see photo). I realize Jeld-Wen cannot make a door that fits every lockset company (SCH***E). Other than that its a great door and I would purchase another one in the future. May 4, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice door for the price Was a big upgrade over our 2 doors that went into the garage that were 40 years old. Install was very easy and had 2 doors in, secured, and trim installed in 3 hours. The only issue is its listed on the website in the specs that you need atleast a 34.5 inch rough opening. In actuality you have plenty of room if you have a 34 inch opening. February 27, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Worth Every Penny Worth Every Penny!!! We used this to replace a hollow core interior door to a basement apartment. It seals really nicely. An unexpected benefit is the sound proofing it provides. Highly recommended. It seals really tight. August 26, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Door I got the door home and leaned it against the house and it blew over. I thought thats not good. everything was fine and it stayed pretty plumb and square. The door installed easily after I prepared the opening. No complaints here. June 24, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great door for the money We use these doors as apartment entry doors, and I haven't found a better value anywhere. They're a major upgrade to the old wood doors we are replacing, at a great price. Highly recommended! June 24, 2014
