I just had this door installed a couple of weeks ago. I like the size of the glass in that it adds some light to my entryway without completely giving up all privacy. At the price point, I think this is a good buy and looks like a more expensive door. There were some scuffs on it when I picked it up but they weren't an issue since I was painting it anyways. Also, it was dent free which immediately puts it ahead of the door it was replacing.
My real problem was that fact that the frame seems to bow out near the lock area so the door is not nearly as snug as I would like. (see picture) I'm not sure if this is more a reflection on the installer or the door however.

I did not install the door. I had a pro do it. It's a strong, steel door with plenty of personality. I looked around because the cost of new doors is astronomical. For those on a budget, what a classy door for the price at just under $300. Most of the doors with glass are decorated in gold; which is not my choice. This door has silver/pewter around the glass decor, which makes for clean, smart styling. I chose brushed nickel hardware which makes the door look much more expensive than it is. No cookie cutter look here. I will have the door painted; it came primed. Sweet. When it shuts, the seal is solid. I really like this door. Great price, great look, solid - good choice.

I bought this to replace the horribly cheap mdf door in my house and it turns out the inside of this thing is styrofoam. It has the wood area around the locks but the door itself is probably slightly more secure than a screen door. Of course I found this out when I drilled a hole through it for my lever handle so I can't just return it and get something else. Unfortunately the specs say nothing about what the inside of the door is made of. The glass looks great though.

Initial installation of the door was very easy and it looks really nice. The poor worksmanship was noticed after making sure everything was level with the frame and installation. We figured out that the door hinges were not attached evenly (bottom hinge was attached to door 1/4" off from other two), causing a gap between the weather stripping and the door on the bottom half. We removed and re-attached the bottom hinge to correct the problem, but we were disappointed in the worksmanship since the door is sold pre-hung on the frame. Will not be purchasing another jeld-wen product after this.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by DaresToTry The Door that fit
My wife loves the way the evening lights come in and the prism like effect that lights a darker corner. The window is high enough we don't have anyone looking in and the look is distinct enough that our door is unique in the neighborhood. The fit is tight, the door seems very weather tight. The one thing I wish was done differently was that the weather stripping at the bottom of the opening could have been better planned. When tucked beneath the trim, it doesn't permit the flex that was planned. We trimmed that and it the fit seems perfect now.

Seems to be a good door. I installed it in just a few hours. This door seals up GREAT was easy to install and looks good. I would consider it to be a great value considering the storm door I installed in front of it was more $ than this door.

This door looks great as a replacement for older style solid wood front door. Lets more light in and brightens entryway. Installation was easy and we didn't even use the frame the door came with. You can do it yourself!
