Product Overview

With JELD-WEN's Vinyl Sliding Patio Door with Factory Installed Pet Door you and your pet can have the freedom you both deserve. Jeld--Wen Vinyl Patio Doors are made to be durable, energy efficient and attractive for many years to come. Using the same patented technology as our vinyl windows, JELD-WEN's fully integrated patio pet door ensures a remarkable fit and finish that is weather tight, energy efficient and vastly more secure than other patio door pet products on the market today. Simply unlock and open the pet door section of the unit, and a 120 mil clear flap is revealed. This flap is easily disengaged by your dog or cat as they walk through the opening. The flap then magnetically closes behind your pet keeping air and water at bay. To securely lock the pet door, simply slide the sash down until you hear the audible click of the Wen-Lock - JED-WEN's automatic locking system. The visual latch indicator on the Wen-Lock confirms a secure closure.

Rated 1.0 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by DO NOT!!!!! WASTE YOUR MONEY!! The door itself is great but the pet panel is AWFUL. The flap has gaps down either side. It buckles and does not stay in place. I've ordered two new ones to replace the original flap and both times the holes are not drilled in the correct place to hang on the door and I've had to remake the holes myself. Wind and leaves blow in all the time. I've had to build a tunnel on the outside with an additional doggy door at the end to reduce the cold coming inside. Now after 12 months of use the actual window is damaged and will not slide up and down. They want $175 just to look at the problem. I can not express strongly enough that this is NOT A GOOD OPTION. DO NOT BUY THE DOOR!!! December 11, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Strikeo from Stockton need advice Please advise how you fixed the problem. Deign of pet door flp is awful - -thin, no magnets, etc. Rest of door is nice and glides smoothly. So many good pet flaps and inserts on the market that it is baffling why this portion of the door design is so poor June 20, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by The cheapest construction of a dog door I had a portable pet insert and then replaced my patio door and insert with the Jeld Wen door above. After it was installed the dog door does not seal, have magnets to hold it in place, was worped dirty plastic and so light weight you might as well had paper in the hole. When calling for someone to come look at it I have to wait for at least a month. In the meantime my indoor cat can get out, the outdoor animals can come in and my house is loosing heat. When the dog goes out the door stays out and open. If it would be windy, the flap would be open to let in all the wind, leaves, etc. If my gardner was blowing the patio, the plastic would go in the house and leave the opening open to take in the leaves and dirt etc. Yes, I can keep the door locked shut, but than how can my dog get out to go to the bathroom. I have to get up 3 or 4 times during the night to let him out. This is not efficient as I work full time and am a fulI time caregiver when home. I am a very unhappy customer! The actual patio door is great, but with the dog door attached it defeats the purpose. In the meantime I have had to hire someone to make the door useable. February 16, 2013
