Rated 1 out of 5 Fell Apart After 2 Weeks
POOR DESIGN = POOR QUALITY = POOR PERFORMANCE!
Bought this door 2 weeks to replace a 20 yr old door that fell apart, due to inadequate glue as have several other doors in our house - all identical in construction, design and appearance to this door. The door I bought hasn't been installed yet, in part because it is 1/4" wider and 1/2" longer than the door it would have replaced. In the mean time, while I arranged for someone to do all the work of cutting the door down, I looked at it yesterday, and it's coming unglued! It's been standing upright for 2 weeks inside our air conditioned house in the room the door will "live" in, and the "skin" has come unglued at the inside edge near the top of the door, with the "skin" bowing out maybe 1/4" from the particle board frame. I've attached a picture of the top half of the door. You can't miss the problem!
I am STUNNED and frustrated! This door is junk, and I have zero faith that a replacement will fare any better. I have tried before to fix doors like this one, using wood glue and clamping and it doesn't work. The door looks good in the store and is cheap, but I will not buy this again if I can find something of better quality.
How is it even possible for an unused door to fall apart?? Wow.

Install was easy and it looks great. Hollow core doors are not designed to be trimmed more than 1/2 in from the top or more than 1 in from the bottom. If you properly trim the door and SEAL it, the door will not split and warp. Most people skip that step, install them and complain that the door is now warping or coming apart.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by danimal Excellent value replacement doors
I purchased 6 of these doors in various widths to replace the flat doors in a 20 year old home. These doors were exactly what I needed. I purchased the doors with the door knob hole pre-drilled and they matched the old doors and jambs perfectly. Needed 2 coats of paint before installation. I removed old doors individually and used as a template for routing the hinges. I purchased a Milescraft hinge template which worked perfectly with my router. i also bought shiny new hinges to replace the painted-over old ones. Now the doors look clean and sharp and it a few years off the house!

These doors are a great substitute for traditional wood doors and while obviously not as nice as paneled wood doors, they are an incredible value and look good for composite. I used the pre-drilled doors and they fit well and were easy to install. I will use these instead of hollow core doors in the future, as they are more durable and easier to install.

The door is a very good substitute for a wood paneled door. Appearance is very good as is ease of installation. I would strongly encourage Home Depot and / or JenWeld review the labels on the product. It had a paper label and I spent far too much time removing the torn paper and adhesive from the door. It should have a vinyl type label to avoid the nuisance and time associated with cleaning adhesive off of the product
