Answer:
No, but the internet abounds with plans for making drift adjustable bandsaw fences that will fit this saw, and all of the major woodworking magazines publish roughly equivalent bandsaw books filled with plans for shop made fences and fixtures that are easily adaptable to this saw.

I wish I had asked this question before I bought my riser block and I wish someone had told me what I am about to tell you.
Yes there is a riser block available, and yes I have one, and yes, it does work to allow resawing of thick stock in limited circumstances. However, if you need to do lots of resawing of thick stock, you will be disappointed with the riser block. It's OK for occasional use, but if you need to do production get a bigger saw. The riser block, to my knowledge, is not something Home Depot carries, and reasonably so. There is a reason why 14" saws generally are not made with a higher clearance, and there is a reason why the riser blocks, though available, are not all that popular.
For resawing of thick stock, you really want a wide (3/4") low pitch (2 or 3 TPI) skip tooth blade with deep gullets. You need the low pitch and the deep gullets to carry away LOTS of sawdust and you need a thick blade to carry away the heat that is generated by sawing through thick stock. Such blades just do not like to turn around a 14" wheel, not on this saw, not on any 14" bandsaw which is why I am building a 19" bandsaw from the Woodgears plans, to be dedicated to resawing.
I did have a good resaw blade made for this saw, but knowing what I know now I would not have bought either the riser block or the blade...though I do use both on occasion. Removing and replacing the riser block is not difficult. So I will put it on if I have got to make a short cut through thick stock, such as notching the base of a 9" diameter pedestal recently. But I take the blade and the riser block off and return the saw to it's shorter configuration right away.
All that being said though, I am very happy with the saw. It is, and will remain the primary bandsaw in my shop and I would buy it again today. I have added a Carter blade tensioner and have also wired in a gooseneck desk lamp that I have attached to the upper wheel cover. There is plenty of room in the switch box to hard wire such a lamp to the line cord.
It is a great saw for cutting out brackets, roughing out cabriole legs, and prepping moderately sized lathe blanks. It is also a workhorse that can do many of the jobs of a table saw, safer. But for resawing thick stock? Even with a riser block, not so much. Read Less

What is the resaw capacity?

This question is from JWBS-14OS, 14 in. Band Saw with Open Stand

Specifications give the "depth of cut" as 14", which, being equal to the blade diameter, is presumably the width of the cut.

Resaw capacity is the distance from the top surface of the table to the bottom of the upper blade guide assembly.

What is the resaw capacity?

Answer:
Answering my own question. The resaw capacity is 6". I just didn't read the description closely enough. I did further research and found out that Jet does sell a riser block for this saw that will increase the resaw capacity to 12". This requires a longer (105") blade.
Based on this information, I am buying one today to replace an ancient and poorly maintained J-Line (Brodhead-Garret) saw.

Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 6 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great product for the price Great saw for the price. Easy to assemble. I was able to assemble by myself. The only regret that I have is that I didn't go with the solid base option. The open base is not as sturdy as I would like the saw to be. Other then that, great product for the price. July 21, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Well packaged, great service from the shipping company, and great saw Saw arrived very quickly and the local trucking company called me a day early to ask me if they should deliver it to me out in the boonies, or hold it on their dock so I could pick it up. I chose to pick it up myself. The saw was packed in a styrofoam clamshell, inside a 3 ply cardboard box, shrinkwrapped down to a well made pallet that fit perfectly between the wheel wells of my little truck. At home, my twelve-year old helped me unpack the saw and did most of the assembly. It took both of us to get the saw up on the stand. I installed the trunnions and the guide block assemblies. Assembly was straightforward. The only complaint is that the parts for the stand are distributed between the top and bottom clamshells and you have to remove the entire saw from the packaging before you can assemble the stand. It would have been nice to be able to assemble the stand first, then remove the rest of the saw from the packaging and place it directly on the stand. I also ordered a JRB 14 riser block (you'll have to shop around, HD doesn't carry it), which gives this saw an extra 6" of resaw capacity (requiring a 105" blade however) and this is easily installed. I install the riser block when I need the added resaw capacity, but this is rare in my shop, so mostly I run the saw in it's factory configuration, using the 93-1/2" blades I have accumulated over the years. The truth is that 105" blades are more expensive and harder to find, and since installing the riser block and changing out the blade are both easy jobs, I don't much mind using the saw in it's smaller capacity mode. The stock blade is serviceable for general roughing of lathe blanks, cabriole legs, and gentle curves. I did burn it up trying to resaw 300 linear feet of 6" barnwood, but it did well on the first 295 feet, failing only because I was hurrying to finish, was feeding the stock too quickly, and neglected to give the blade time to cool between cuts. Go slow, let the blade cool, and stop for a breather every once in a while. Remember that it is not a 36" ship saw. Pace your work and the saw will reward you. Over do it and the saw will let you down. With a good Woodslicer or Timberwolf blade however, this saw is a resawing demon. With a careful operator and a 1/2" Woodslicer 3TPI thin kerf blade, I can get 8" wide slices of hardwood veneers that are ready for glue up. In general, I'd say that for a saw at the bottom of the 14" bandsaw price range, this one is remarkably well made and I see no reason why it won't outlive me and end up in my kid, or grandkid's shop some day. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very good bandsaw Easy to assemble but needed a neighbor to help put it on the stand. Set up was very straightforward and everything needed was there. December 17, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best saw ever I could see this saw was a great choice out of the box. The saw is not noisy, Easy to set up, And comes w/ a blade. January 17, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Well Built and Sturdy I had a JET bandsaw for many years and decided on this one as a replacement. The item out of the box is very sturdy and stable. Some of the lower end bandsaws are made with too many cost reductions that jeopardize integrity. This is a solid well performing machine January 31, 2013
