Answer:
If you want it to look good, all tile jobs need spacers. We installed it as a backsplash, used the 1/16 tombstone style spacers and non sanded grout to minimize the space between the tile. Normal cooking will not stain tile but it will stain grout so we wanted to minimize the cleanup and staining.

Answer:
No.... I did not use spacers... however, because the grout line is small, make sure sandless grout is used and have it thinned enough to ensure good penetration between tiles

I did not complete this job. I hired a tilest. He used spacers. I have to say he said that this tile was not easy to work with since it is beveled. Good luck. BTW I used chair railing for the boarders since it is beveled. a round does not look good.

Answer:
Hello,
Jeffrey Court Concorde Dawn 3X6 does not require a spacer. The 3x6 has lugs that when the tile are installed edge to edge it will create a grout joint. If you need further assistance please contact us @ 951.340.3383

I just bought this product to tile the walls of my shower. Is there a recommended pencil tile or other product to use around the edges of the tile? Thanks.

I did not use any trim and it still looks good. You could caulk along the edges and it looks just fine. Works well if you''re on a budget. Also, the Tile Shop has marble 12 inch pencils that go well. I bought them and planned on using them but I ended up keeping the $178 worth of trim in my pocket. Good luck.

I used 12x12 granite tile cut in 3/4 - 1" strips and filed the edges of the granite to take the sharp edges off.
you could easily use a marble, or a travertine.... any natural stone will work for trim. Alls u need is a saw and a file to lightly round edges.

The only trim I could find that would work was Allen+Roth 1/2 round. The white matches fine - it's just expensive. But it looks good!

I was also very confused about this. I ordered the tile and what I got ended up being $4.99 a square foot. The $4.99 is NOT per 3x6 tile.

I was confused too, so ordered 3 online for delivery to my local HD. It is priced per pack. I just picked them up tonite, so did not completely open the package but looks like 8 tiles per package. Look really nice, glad I confirmed since I really wanted to use this tile but would not be able to afford if it was really $5 per one 3x6 tile!

Do you get 8 tiles for 4.99 or just 1. I find it hard that it could be $40 a sq ft, so I figure some of the specs must be wrong.
