Customer Questions & Answers

Would this tile be one one of the same colors of the Jeffrey court sunwashed mini brick

I want to use the Jeffrey court sunwashed mini brick as an accent strip on my backsplash. I have been looking to find a glass tile that goes with /matches one of the glass tiles in this mosaic
Asked by: gina
Hello, Havana Cream does coordinate with Sunwashed Mini Brick but is not an exact color match. We do recommend ordering 1 sq ft of Havana Cream for sample purposes.

Customer Reviews

Havana Cream 3 in. x 12 in. x 8 mm Glass Tile is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks great but I would think twice I did about 15 sqft of backsplash using this tile and it was my first time doing a backsplash or working with tile. I picked it because it looked great, wan't too plain and not overly designed. The stripes are visible from maybe 3-4 feet in good lighting but not really beyond that. Unfortunately the installation was a huge pain. I bought a glass tile cutter from HD and it was great at making 3 inch perpendicular cuts. It was impossible to make cuts along the length of the tile without shattering it. It tried cutting it down to 6 inches and then making length wise cuts from that and every single one shattered. 4 inches is about the maximum length i could consistently get for good clean cuts. I took a couple of pieces into a professional shop because i desperately needed about 70 inches of 2inch width and they couldnt do a full length cut either without shattering the tile. So I had to get about 70 inches in 4 inch pieces for the final top row immediately below the cabinets. I'd say this isn't a DIY friendly tile and I would think twice before picking it unless you have all the time in the world. Other than that, the tile looks great, the white backing makes the tile not see through. I laid out all the tile before starting and they only maybe 3 pieces that were pockmarked in places so thats a pretty good ratio in my mind. Also some of the pieces weren't really square buts its fine if you have to make a lot of cuts. Having finished this, in retrospect I would probably pick a different non glass tile, or if glass then something much smaller than a 3x12.
