These looked good w/ the closeup online + they were on sale, so I bought them without having a place to use them over a year ago! We offer nicer than average house rentals, and 3mos. later (Oct. 2010) bought a cottage style house that I knew these tiles would be perfect for! Everyone that saw this kitchen wanted the rental--just because of the kitchen! You will see by our added pictures that the black painted cabinets really contrast fantastically (use flat or semi-gloss ONLY, do NOT use High-Gloss as it really attracts the dust & scratches more easily too). Went with the neutral granite, to make it look like sand against the "waves" of the backsplash. Has little copper accents in the glass that really make the backsplash pop & stand out even more! We didn't add under-cabinet lighting, but they still "sparkle" even with just the overhead lighting! My only downgrade on installation & quality, is because the individual glass pieces are pretty small & brittle, which makes it very difficult if you have to cut them, but that should be expected with any small/glass tile! Use NON-sanded Bone color grout. This allows the grout lines to recess. A brighter white or colored grout would compete w/ the glass.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by PatJ This tile looks spectacular when installed.
I installed this tile as a full height splash and the final touch in my kitchen remodel. It tile is relatively easy to install, however, cutting small format glass tile is always tricky. At the low end of the glass tile price range, this was a great value. Everyone who has seen the kitchen has raved about it.

These are awesome tiles. The picture doesn't do them justice. Not only do they have the most beautiful cobalt blue and green colors, but there are other neutral colors mixed in as well that tone down the brightness.
I was constantly receiving compliments on my backsplash while I lived there.
Do yourself a favor and do not use white grout. Use a color that will blend with the tiles. I used medium gray color. The whole reason I bought these tiles was to draw attention away from my ugly stock countertops. I used credit card points, so I didn't pay a thing.
I just bought a different place, and I am going to order these tiles again to install in in my kitchen backsplash.
Oh, one more important thing. If you use that two-sided sticky stuff that is supposed to replace the mastic, be careful. The one the sales person sold me turned out to have a warning not to use for tile smaller than one inch square. My tile fell down before I got a chance to grout, and I had to reinstall with mastic.

At first we were a little reluctant to order tiles we could only look at on the website, but since we were able to return them to the store, we gave it a try.
Well, we were not disappointed. The tiles looked just like pictured, were easy to install and matched perfectly with our kitchen. We used them as a backsplash and have gotten many compliments.
The only negative thing was that almost every tile had at least one of the mosaics chipped or attached a little crooked. It really was not a big issue, because we used one tile and repaired the others with it. I would recommend to buy plenty extra for that reason. This way you can pick the best ones, and return the rest to the store.

Just about done redoing my bathroom and used this tile for accent in the shower and around sink. Love the look and the color is very vibrant. My son found it was easy to install.
