CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Basic Tree Wrap I am a horticulturist, and it sounds to me like the previous reviewer was misled by an employee who wasn't knowledgeable about this product or the aphid problem he was having. As far as I know, tree wrap is used to prevent winter damage to young trees when severe cold is followed by rapid thawing. This can split the bark on the sunny side of the tree. Basically, tree wrap is light in color so it reflects some of the heat and prevents this damage. I prefer it greatly over plastic tree protectors, which I have found to be hard to put on without scratching the bark, but I do realize that plastic may be better at preventing damage from animals. For my backyard gardening needs, the wrap is just fine and is much easier to apply and remove (which you should do once the danger of frost has passed in the spring). October 6, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Befuddeled We have ants planting aphids all over our orange tree. Spraying neem oil worked, but not for long. I went to Home Depot seeking tangle foot and was directed to Jobes Tree Wrap. The ants didn't seem to mind it being on the tree at all. The ant trail was easily seen walking across the Tree Wrap. Could I have misunderstood the directions? June 28, 2014
