Look in the manual that came with the cart, it shows an assembly drawing with part numbers. Or call a John Deere dealer.

I bought one for my 54 inch commercial zero-turn on ebay. I believe I have also seen them in the parts listing for John Deere mowers.

I have not found anyone who sells the side rails. I made my own out of wood, 5 years ago, and they work great.

I don't know of a source for a side rail, but I would not recommend using wood. If you have the cart, you know that the slots for the side rail are small and by the time you cut a piece of wood down that small you might as well not have a side rail. The first piece of sizeable fire wood that rolled down and hit it would likely break it off. Cutting pieces of metal electrical conduit would probably be the Read More

Answer:
You will have to remove the bags when towing the poly cart. With the bags in place, they will get in the way when attaching to the rear hitch of the tractor and the bags will restrict the turning swing of the cart.

Thanks for your question. The 17 cu. ft. tow-behind cart cannot be used simultaneously with the rear bagger. You must remove the rear bagger to attach the cart.

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 67 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by update: summer camp is over and the cart held up fine, still using to close up camp but not as much it is still in great condition after a 9 weeks of camp. Plenty good for another year of camp. Highly recommend this unit if it holds up under these conditions, your homeowner use will be a picnic for it. October 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice dump trailer If you need a large dump trailer this is a great one! October 4, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by sturdy functional cart Relatively simple assembly, though you probably will need a second person to help tighten the bolts just because of the size of the cart and the inability of one person to reach both ends of the bolt for bolts that are in the center of cart. The cart is durable, stable and easy to maneuver when disconnected from the tractor...even when it is partially loaded September 27, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Vulnerability I have had this cart for a few years and experienced only one problem. While hauling a full load of topsoil up an incline in the yard the stress on the Cart Lock Bar proved too much. The bar bent back opening the slot and dumped the load. After straightening the bar, any steep grade caused the same problem with lighter loads. The solution was to replace the lock bar. However, the malleable metal is stll a vulnerable part of the cart and it is difficult to trust it not to happen again. Therefore, I have compensated by lightening the load and crossing my fingers. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by very good cart unlike others who have bought this product as a homeowner, I work at a summer camp so it going to see a lot more use than the average cart. I expect with care it will last a few years. I probably will never dump with it, mostly used to carry trash, water jugs, tools, etc mostly what a side by side carries, except we don't have one. towed by a golf cart. I like the fact that it is poly so no rust. time will tell how it will last. if it lasts 3-4 years which I fully expect a homeowner should get an easy 15-20. will update as time goes by. July 6, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Exceptionally Difficult to Assemble I like this cart except for a couple issues. First the cart is very difficult to assemble by yourself. The instructions are for 2 different carts and you are left to figure out which is yours. The instructions also are essentially just CAD drawings they printed off with little explanation of how to actually assemble the cart. The primary axle is prone to rust. Once assembled though, the cart works well. June 7, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Love trailer Be ready to complete assembly; the only part of assembled that was difficult was the Foot Pedal.... Spent most of the time with this one step June 27, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by GREAT AND DURABLE CART THE ONLY PROBLEM WAS WITH ASSEMBLY. IT IS SO MUCH EASIER WITH TWO PEOPLE. THE SCREWS AND BOLTS NEEDED TO BE LINED UP AND THE DISTANCE WITH HOLDING BOTH SCREW AND NUT IS TOO GREAT FOR ONE PERSON. OTHER THAN THAT, GREAT CART. GLAD IT IS A NON-METAL BODY TO PREVENT RUSTING.
