Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by TxctyLaki Great Buy, Poor Assembly Instructions
I like the product. Like all the John Deere equipment I own, it is made with quality parts. My only complaint relates the amount of time it takes to put the utility cart together. It took me 4 hours working alone. It should have only taken 2, at the most. It wasn't a difficult task BUT the instructions were basically just written. I spent a lot of needless time trying to identify and interpret description of parts. What would make it easier to assemble would be better and more PICTURE of the the individual parts. Also, in order to grease the wheels, one will need a 90 degree attachment for the grease gun. The zerk fittings on the wheels doesn't allow enough room to grease them without the attachment.

I just assembled the cart. I like & trust & own John Deere equipment so I'm giving it a 4 star. The parts are quality so I'm sure the cart will perform to my satisfaction. I would have given it 5 stars but for the poor assembly instructions. I recommend that the owners manual give a picture of each part to facilitate assembly. Assembling the cart is rather simple but figuring out which part to assemble from a verbal description is really confusing & time-consuming. Putting the cart together is about a hour's job--with pictures of the parts. Without pictures, it took me 3.

I have owned one of these for 8 years. After heavy use hauling firewood through the woods behind my 4-wheeler, it is still in good working shape. I highly recommend it. I replaced the hitch with a standard 17/8" receiver for ease of use.

Great solid wagon, no need to worry about the bottom cracking like the poly carts. assembly was not bad BUT for the money better hardware could have been used, like every other reviewer states. Needs about 25 5/16 flat washers for the elongated holes and some plastic washers for the tailgate latches instead of o-rings.....Really John Deere?! Awesome cart though, just needs better Hardware!!

After beating up a lightweight utility cart over the years I needed somthing more durable. I looked at several other little trailers on the market but decided on the 18 cu. ft. John Deere. It arrived in a few days of ordering. Asssembly was ok except for getting the trip lever. I had to purchase a 1 7/8 hitch receiver to adapt to my equipment. I haul up to 25 face chord of green hardwood out of the woods annually so it will see some heavy duty use. I wish it had sideboard pockets, I'll have to add some sideboards as well. Overall it's a nice little unit that should last many years.

We are very pleased with this utility cart. It lives up to the quality of a John Deere product. Our only complaint was in the assembly. The instructions did not have clear illustrations and we used a lot of time trying to figure out where things went. We also had to replace three bolts that came with the product that would not tighten, But once it was assembled, we are very pleased with the heavy-duty sturdiness. It can carry a load of wood behind our compact tractor, yet it is easy to move around our shed by hand.

I had a 15 cu. one, sold it to the neighbor for $200, after a little accident with it. I told him I was going to buy another one. Had another one coming from Home Depot with-in 24 hours. I really can't do without a heavy duty lawn trailer. Yes, I have more trailers. I need a big lawn trailer that the wheels won't fall off and I can abuse. This one fits the bill. My first one I did not have to put it together, bought it from dealer. This one was easy for my wife to put together, I'm a little disabled.
