I'll say yes, because I use the bagger all spring, summer & early autumn. I also have a trailer from my old tractor that I can utilize with the bagger in place to haul various sundries. For the winter, the mower deck & bagger remove easily so I can install my snow thrower, weights, chain, etc..

Answer:
I bought this bagger for my L118 John Deere. The tractor was purchased in 2005. This bagger will not work on my L118 without modifications and the blades included in the kit have one mounting hole, mine has two. I called my local John Deere dealer and found out that my tractor bagger part number is BM24469. I'm returning this bagger and ordered the one from my dealer.

Answer:
Use the blades that come with the bagger kit as they are designed to create the proper vacuum to suck up the clippings, otherwise your shoot will become clogged.

YES, use the blades in the kit. I tried using the brand new blades that came with my mower and they don't create enough vacuum to clear the tube of debris. The blades in the kit are easily replaced and are made specifically for this function.

Answer:
No... I didn't know when I purchased the bagger that it included "Uplift Blades" but I've been pleased with the performance with the blades that are already installed on the mower deck. Next spring, when I re-install the mower deck, I'll install the Uplift Blades, knowing that I've got a back up set that can be re-sharpened.

Thank you for contacting the Home Depot website. Replacing your current blades with the ones that come with the Twin Bagger is not required. The standard 3-in-1 blades that come on your D125 will work perfect for bagging, mulching and cutting grass.

It is less than the deck width, so as long as the shed opening is wide enough for the deck, it should fit width wise.

Answer:
Check the specs on the bagger kit. The widest point will be the width measurement of the bagger box it self. It should still be within the blade deck width. Meaning, the blade deck will be your widest point overall for fitment issues into a parking space, etc.
The bagger kit should not impede fitment into tight spaces.

Surprisingly, it's less than the width of the "42" 17.5 HP Automatic Front-Engine Riding Mower" deck! I have a gate into my back yard that is only 45 inches wide. I have to lift the plastic discharge chute to drive through the gate. You should be fine with a 54" clearance..

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.9 out of 5 by 41 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Works like a charm. Took some time to assemble and install, but now is the easiest bagger to clear and empty that I have ever owned. I highly recommend it. May 10, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Performance Ive wanted this attachment for my D110 since I bought it 2 years ago but just couldnt get myself to pay $349 tax for a bunch of plastic and mesh. I now see why I felt that way. I assembled the catcher which took about 30 minutes, no big deal other than the fact the instructions are complete garbage with useless illustrations. I made one pass on my regularly maintained lawn with the deck set at the highest setting (4). I noticed grass all over the driveway so I stopped and checked the bags, they were about 1/8 full yet the shoot was already clogged. The grass was about 2" tall and dry. Ive read the reviews and see this is a fairly common problem. I am not dealing with this and the bagger is going right back to THD. Is this really the best John Deere can do? I feel like they owe me a half an hour of my life back. Unacceptable. May 5, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Does the job Bagger did an excellent job removing leaves this past year. It is not conducive to picking up thick layers, as the system cannot handle it (requiring several back up and proceed maneuvers). With patience, it does not clog, but the relatively small storage requires several stoppages. I have one acre & it performs very well overall. May 10, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Item did not fit! I am not rating this product, it did not fit the mower. You can not purchase the correct bagger for the Z335E mower Home Depot carries. This does not make sense in my mind. Average ratings across the board as I never was able to use it. May 10, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Not the right blades! The only problem I have is the kit came with the wrong blades! Cost me another $40, other than costing me new blades I love the bagger May 10, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by 42 in. Twin Bagger I recently purchased my first John Deere tractor (D105) after my 14 year old Craftsman tractor died. I decided to go with JD because my neighbor allowed me to use his when I had problems with my old tractor. I've been pleased with how the tractor performs, but I knew I had to spend the money for all the accessories that I relied on with my previous tractor (leaf bagger, weights, chains, snow thrower, etc.) I am SINCERELY hoping that the Twin Bagger performs well since the installation instructions were possibly the worst that I have ever encountered from a major manufacturer. I'm expecting delivery on a snow thrower, canopy, chains, weights and I'm extremely anxious if the installation instructions are comparable to what JD provided for the Twin Bagger. I'm 62 years old... I actually constructed my own house over 25 years ago. I've assembled tons of products, but I can't remember ever seeing any installation instructions that are as poor as the ones I received with this Twin Bagger... October 6, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Works Well. Easy to assemble The product was delivered promptly and I was able to assemble it in about 30 minutes. I have used it 3 times on my 2 acres and it does the job well. One note: Try to mow when the lawn is dry. I mowed early in the morning the first time and had to clear the chute several times. April 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Easy To assemble might be hard for some without some mechanical knolege March 29, 2016
