Rated 4 out of 5 by from D125 and attachments The d125 exceeded my expectations! Beautiful piece of equipment. I cannot say the same for the dethcher/aerator. The assembly instructions were in number 8 font so you needed a magnifying glass to read them. The diagrams were too small and difficult to read..The assembly was no better. The forks thar connect the wagon to the d225 were warped so I had to clamp them into position in order to secure the bolts To top it off there were bolts missing so I had to make a trip to the hardware store to finish the job I know John deere can do better than this. We researched online and most grass catchers were a lot more expensive. You must assemble it, and the instructions to put this together were not that easy to follow. But the hardest part was changing out the old blades for the new ones that came with the new bagger. They are a different shape. Our lawn mower was new and had never had the blades changed before. We had to get our grown son to help, as some real muscle was needed. It didn't pick up at first, but once some adjustments were made, it works great. The bottom part that goes under the mower needs to be completely flush with no gaps, otherwise it won't create a good vacuum. This mower and bagger really make my life easier, as we live on a farm and there's plenty to do!

This is my second 42 inch twin bagger, they last long and function as expected. Installation was very easy for my first bagger, however upon receiving this bagger it was evident that one major change was required for the install. The customer would have to drill a pilot hole into the frame of the John Deere tractor. I assume the newer John Deere tractors have this hole placed there when it was made. A template was provided. I was furious. To make something that was originally simple, somewhat difficult makes no sense.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First Time Bagger User I have never used a bagger on a lawnmower before, so have nothing to compare it to. I think this one is great. It fit perfectly onto my JD D130. I installed the mulch blade that came with it. It takes me longer to mow grass now, only because I have to keep driving back to the compost bins to empty the bags. They fill up fast. The only thing is that sometimes one bag fills up faster than the other, and there is only one notch on the shoot to adjust it. It was great in the spring to pick up dead leaves, and now green grass clippings. The easiest way to tell when the bags are full is to reach back and feel them. The only time the shoot would clog up is when the bags were full. A clogged shoot is easy to clear. I like this bagger. I am just starting a tree nursery and needed to start making my own compost. I have included photos.

Bagger fit on the tractor with no problems, I had to drill a hole in the deck but that was explained in the instructions and the template was perfect. I couldn't use the blades because they didn't have holes drilled in them like on my L111 so I used the old blades and I will drill the blades when I need them. All in all it was pretty easy to install and it is working great. It sure is a time saver.

I've been using this system for more than five years with only minor maintenance. This new one is typically excellent but with one minor problem. The lower right hand bungee cord is too short by about 1.5 inches and I had to fabricate an extension of the snap hook with a hardware store "S" hook. Not a big deal but unexpected.
