Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 41 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great value for money I bought this about a year ago and have 55 hours logged on it. It cuts my 4.5 acres of grass rather swiftly without many problems and has a nice turning radius. However the grass catchers can get clogged quite easily when going over wet or abnormally tall grass, so if in those conditions I recommend to go slower than what you usually would. All these negative reviews to me look like its just the dealership not necessarily the product. My last 4 lawn mowers have had the same engine (Briggs & Stratton) and nothing has gone wrong. I have run into many (at speed) large rocks and trees and nothing has broken yet. I recommend this product if you don't have deep pockets but have a large area to mow and need something durable. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by problems My d100 was in the shop with a blown head gasket with inly w0 hours on the mower. And now today it has 80 hours and the dealer came and picked it up again for reason not yet known but it sounds like there is bolts in the bottom end!! I spent the extra money to get a deer and for the hopes of getting a good product and i was oh so wrong!!! September 22, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Deere fan for life Bought my first John Deere product this spring from our local John Deere dealer in Danville, Kentucky. The 110 works great for my lot and is easy to use. The cut is great and always leaves my yard looking good. It mows well in higher areas too. I would recommend this product especially for the price. I will be a return John Deere customer. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Belt rubs on deck went through 4 Only 96 hours on lawn tractor in 2 years cause belts kept breaking or coming off. I had to pay for 3 our of 4. September 1, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by <50 hrs and already problems Less than 50 hours on the mower and it's developed electrical problems. I have to start it by jumping the battery to the starter. Very disappointed. August 17, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good little tractor so far Have about a year out of it and 35 hours so far with no problems . For the price this has been a great little tractor, mowed a neighbors large backyard yesterday that had become over grown about 2 feet high. Kept it on highest cut setting and plowed through it no problems , this was the first time I gave it a good challenge and I was impressed by the power . I've pulled large limbs that have fallen or been cut off , and it cuts pretty well too . I do wish there were wheels on all 4 sides , this would help keep the blades from scalping the grass on slopes or when turning sharply . Hydrostatic transmission is awesome and cuts my mowing time down significantly, steering is light and easy. I hope to get at least 300 trouble free hours out of it. July 5, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Most excellent Until this summer season, I have been walking behind mowers for more than 50 years believing tractors were for fields not lawns. I have operated a variety of larger farm equipment manufacturers so comparisons for the lawn tractor was relatively easy - Deere. With a lawn broken into three quarters to include small barriers (fences, trees), the d110 is versatile, maneuvers around objects effortlessly, and is a breeze to operate. July 7, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by This product cuts my lawn lower than I expected I am a new owner to a John Deere lawn tractor. My lawn would look like carpet when it was cut by my 18 year old Murray that died 2 weeks ago. Page 27 of the operator's manual instructs to let the engine run at high throttle for a few seconds then turn off the key. There is no suggestion to cut back on the throttle. The cutting section of the blades is only about 4 inches, no wonder this product fails in the quality of my lawn appearance after it is cut. I love the tight turning radius of this tractor, I get around plants much easier. June 2, 2015
