I bought this cab after looking at many others. Ordered on line, delivery was very fast. Opened box and laid out all parts and read instructions. Found assembly very easy and fast. Could not be happier with this product. I have one suggestion for John Deere. Pack the nuts and bolts in a bag. I almost lost some dumping out the box cab came in. Other then that, I recommend this product. Well designed and made. Taking the few minutes to read the instructions first does save time. Follow them in putting it together and you will have no problems what so ever. Very well written.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by CWRiley ONLY for LA100 Series JD Mowers
I purchased this product for my L100 JD mower with 42" Snow Blower. As advertized for "Series 100 Mowers" this Snow Cab has a critical bracket "B" that does not fit my L100 mower cowl and probably none of the L100 series units. Creative users with mechanical talent may be able to modify the bracket to fit.
Talked to JD corporate and they were not aware of this shortcoming. Likely the mfg (Classicaccessories) design the product based on LA100 series that were selling at the time of design but labeled the packaging as a Series 100 product instead of Series LA100 product.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by HappyJDOwner Excellent Quality but Poor Functionality
Unfortunately, the "safety police" influenced the design by adding too much ventilation. The wind blows right through from the numorus screened vents around the cab. I decided to cut plexiglass pieces in the same shapes, drilled small holes and zip tied them to the inside over each vent. Also, the snow blower arm is suppose to enter the cab through a zippered access that was an obvious after-thought. Besides bending the arm to allow for easier movement, there was really no other way to make it work properly without undue strain on the cab fabric and zipper. I decided to add a winch which eliminated the need for the arm altogether. I would recommend the cab with modifications.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by Ray315 Mounted on a John Deere LA120 Lawn Tractor
On the LA120 tractor, the canvas needs to be stretched so tight that I was afraid that it would rip down near the foot pedals. I ended up cutting and lowering the steel framework to get the canvas down low enough by the foot pedals. All John Deere needs to do is add 3 or 4 more inches of canvas on the bottom to fit this tractor perfectly. Obviously it took me much more time to install the canvas than the 2 hours they say in the instructions.

PROS. great product, easy to install CONS. snow blower lift handle does not fit inside the cab. Should be a pass through on the right side to control the lift handle. A little problem with the cut out for the gas petal, gets hung up on the material when you step on the reverse petal.
