Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 11 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by It was exactly what we were looking for! We had these rulers before for our business, and had to replace them, since they were wearing out from constant use. Our cutting table was custom made to accommodate this size and brand. I was happy to go to a local source to order them, and they were competitively priced too. October 4, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Helpful layout tool This is a very helpful tool for laying out designs on larger pieces of wood or plywood, and it's easy to store hanging from a peg on pegboard behind the workbench. July 28, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Inaccurate thus useless Purchased this Friday. I live 45 miles form a Home Depot. When I went home, I checked the accuracy, and noticed it was off compared to a stanley and a lufkin tape measure. Then compared it to a starrett 12 inch combination square. The Johnson ruler is off about 3/64 (over 1/16) most of the length of it, but then seems to be accurate after about 50 inches. I will attempt to return it next time I am close to a Home Depot. It is made in the USA, but a cheap China made is more accurate. Do not buy this ruler until Johnson has better quality control and makes it products accurate. August 29, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by It's a big straight ruler! I needed a straight edge to use for scoring a mirror we are cutting. This not only has a straight edge, but it's aluminum and has marks indicating distance at consistent intervals. It reminds me of the ruler I used in school (long ago), but this is a LOT bigger! It goes WAY past 12". It actually goes to 60"!!! I used to use a retractable tape measure. Now I use this everywhere. It's a little hard to carry, and sometimes doesn't fit in the space needed to measure, but I've got the biggest ruler in the room! July 8, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Heavy gage, easy to see numbers The ruler is made of a heavy gage, which is what I need. The numbers are very easy to read. January 20, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Acuracy ?? Firsthand this is a ruler not a micrometer, people are comparing it to tape measures which are known to be pretty inaccurate. This is used to measure plywood , wall board , not used for making a Rolex Watch ... for rough measuring if your off 3/64 that's nothing ... really nice ruler for the price ... December 14, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by The product is useful for projects that require measurements greater than 48 inches I own a couple of the 48 inch rulers and was happy to find this longer one. Really like the longer length of this ruler. However given the length, the ruler needs to be heavier. When using the ruler as a straight edge in cutting, it is hard to keep the ruler from moving and causing miss-cuts. Because the ruler is so light for it's length, I resorted to applying making tape to the back to keep it from moving. Otherwise, I'm happy with the purchase. September 24, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice product! Needed a true straight edge for routing a beer pong table to lay in some plexiglass and it had to be longer than 48 inches and this worked perfect.I understand you can measure with this too wow a 2 for 1 in the rewards category.Remember measure twice cut once.
