The description says that the jamb kit is for a 2 ft by 4 ft wall opening.. do you really mean it is designed to fit a pocket door that is framed with 2" x 4" studs? I don't want to order this and get some crazy item designed for a bomb shelter.

I am installing the Johnson Hardware 1500 pocket door and will be using a clear solid pine wood door (to be stained, NOT Painted) so I'm am looking for an unfinished pocket door jamb kit that can be STAINED instead of painted. This states it is primed...do you have one that is unfinished and ready for STAINING?

I need a pocket door jamb kit for a 32 in. x 80 in. door - do they make one? Or can this be cut down? Is it difficult to cut down if so required?

I know this is made to fit a pocket door. But is the wood 1/4 inch thick, 1/2, 11/16? I am trying to see how much opening space I lose with this jam, is it 11/16 like most others?
