Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Woody Boss your board with the Board Boss.
If used as shown in Home Depot's or Pony Tool Co.'s picture, with the Board Boss (BB) working off the tail end of the clamp, you may find the BB to be a frustrating failure. That is because, as the tailpiece of the clamp is pulling the upright flange of the BB, it provides enough leverage to the lower flange to pop it out of the space between the boards.
THE FIX is to turn the BB around and use it at the head end of the clamp. Then, the foot of the headpiece will hold the BB down and prevent it from popping out of the space.
So, used as shown in the ad, the BB works terrible. But, uses as I suggested, it works great! Rated as in the ad's picture, I would give it a one. Rated after turning it around, I would give it a 5. So the final rating is in the middle as a 3.
ADDITIONAL TIP: Use a pipe that is threaded at both ends. That way you can screw on a PVC cap to keep the end of the pipe from scraping or gouging the deck's surface. You can also, by using a coupler, screw on additional lengths of pipe for those long clamping applications.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by sc7476 gets the job done
Got the job done. Was able to straighten Ipe decking boards. Could be a little longer on the between the board edge, does tend to be a little fussy staying between the boards/pulling out. Took a couple of different angles/set-ups to make it pull some boards tight together.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by carl very handy
i found that the tool allows for very fine control which allows you to easily keep a straight line or to quickly correct a couple of courses starting to radius.
It is very quick and easy to use, very few boards will be set aside.
