Product Overview

The Juno Pro-Series LED 22 in. white fixture offers exceptional energy efficiency and long life. Designed for under-cabinet placement and other sparsely lit areas of the home, it furnishes brilliant white light for kitchen countertops and other household work surfaces. It features light output and color rendering similar to halogen fixtures, but consumes just 15% of the energy and lasts up to 20 times longer. The high-quality, low-profile aluminum housing tucks unobtrusively under cabinets and incorporates a clear, prismatic, tempered glass lens that reduces glare and is easy to clean. The hardwired fixture has an integrated on/off rocker switch and can be dimmed with most standard incandescent, magnetic low-voltage or electronic low-voltage dimmers.

  • Exceptionally efficient Pro-Series LED 22 in. fixture reduces energy consumption; operates on only 10-watt input, just 1/6 the power requirement of equivalent halogen fixtures
  • 50,000-hour life virtually eliminates light source replacement; at 4 hours of use per day you can expect 34 years of maintenance-free operation
  • Utilizes 6 state-of-the-art LEDs with warm-white 3000K color temperature, providing superb color rendering and consistency
  • Cool operating LEDs emit virtually no heat in the light beam and do not transfer heat to cabinetry
  • LEDs produce no ultraviolet rays that can fade sensitive materials, and with no mercury or other toxins they are safe for both the family and the environment
  • High-quality, extruded aluminum fixture housing, finished in designer white, has a low 1 in. profile that tucks out of sight behind the front lip of cabinetry or against the rear backsplash
  • Clear, prismatic, tempered-glass lens provides maximum light transmission while reducing glare
  • Integrated on/off rocker switch offers convenient operation; fixture is dimmable with most standard incandescent, magnetic low-voltage or electronic low-voltage dimmers

Customer Questions & Answers

Is this or is this not hardwired?

How bright is this light? as compared to the old light bulb?
Asked by: Al
It's hardwired but installation is quite simple. Mine was placed over a sink and it illuminates the area well enough to see without being obnoxiously bright.

The problem we ran into was in connecting multiple lights in a string. You have to have their special plug in which you won't realize until you read the instructions. Also, the ends of the connectors are really large so any holes drilled between cabinets for just wiring will not suffice. Consider smaller than you think you need because the lighting is so good.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very nice units - well built - a bit quirky to wire. The Juno Pro-Series under-cabinet lights are very nice units. I like the fact that the diffuser glass is recessed into the casing to avoid seeing the bright edge. My only issue was the electrical connection. The unit is provided with a push-in electrical connectors, but they only have one space for the power wiring to/from the unit. If you are daisy-chaining several units from one central dimmer, you must connect two power wires to the units. I had to remove the factory installed two position push-in connectors and replace them with three position push-in connectors. Other than this the lights are very good quality and provide excellent counter-top illumination.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Lights. Have Patience Installing with This Guide I bought two 22" and one 14" fixture. They look great and give off a very appealing light. I hard wire daisy-chained these which required a bit more patience with the installation. Shut off the power to your circuit. Mark your location first, place the light on your marks and pre-drill the two holes necessary for mounting. This way, when you install the light after wiring, you just line up the holes and set the screws. There are two choices of plates for connecting the power. If you are daisy-chaining these together, you will have two romex cables entering the back of the fixture. The only way this will work is if you use the conduit plate and connector. Since you will now have three black, three white, and three ground wires, you will need to clip off the factory installed two-wire push-in connectors and buy three-wire push-in connectors. There is not a lot of room in the cavity of the fixture for this many wires, but it will work. Make sure all other wiring within the cavity is pushed in and down as far as it will go to allow more room for the positive, neutral, and ground wires. Decide how far into the cavity past the switch your first bundle of wires can go and cut that fixture wire to length. Strip the wire but DO NOT twist the wire. Leave the strands straight. They will go into the connectors much easier. Next, stagger the lengths of the remaining two fixture wires so the connectors can sort of ride behind one another when slid into the cavity. Maybe 3/4--1 inch shorter each time. You'll need the room. Once the fixture wires are cut and stripped, measure the same lengths for the romex wires and strip. Push the newly-purchased three-wire push-in connectors straight onto the UNTWISTED fixture wires first. Doesn't matter which hole you choose. Make sure each of the three is seated. Give them each a tug and look through the clear area at the tip. You are better off doing the fixture wires first since if one comes out, you can try again much easier than if you have two other romex cables attached. When each is seated, take the longest wire and add the two matching romex wires to the connector. Take this set and slide it into the cavity. Do the next longest set next and slide in behind the first set. Finally do the shortest set of three. and slide it into the cavity. You may need another person to either hold the fixture or put the conduit plate in place with the set screw. When the plate is in place, put the fixture up to the pre-drilled holes and secure the fixture to the cabinet or shelf. Turn on the power and test your work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great light! Bought it to replace an old/ugly fluorescent fixture that was above my sink. This ... Great light! Bought it to replace an old/ugly fluorescent fixture that was above my sink. This light is nice/sleek/simple design, which is in no way obtrusive. It sits underneath the cabinet quite nicely and illuminates my sink area very well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this bronze tone Even with a light rail, there will be times your under-cabinet lights will be seen. I love that this line comes in the classy bronze tone - blends beautifully with warm maple, rich cherry, other shades of browns as well. Light is bright, LEDs will last (almost) forever, and low energy consumption - linkable, too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very skeptical at first but won over by the product Cons: * Very expensive: In addition to the cost of the units you need to buy accessories, i.e. connectors, which cost at least $10 a piece. * The light is 3000K which differs from the warm “standard” light bulbs. (This was my biggest concern when making decision to purchase the product.) * Difficult to find all the sizes in one store. It turns out that if you need different sizes as soon as possible you may need to visit several store and not necessary in the close proximity of your place of residence Pros: * The most length flexibility. Most of the under cabinet lighting has only a few standard sizes and may not perfectly match the size of your cabinets, especially if you have several different length cabinets. * Appeal. To my big surprise the light is very appealing even though I don’t like any lights over 2700K. Note that the lighting is very uniform: the color of each light appears to be identical to others and, as I red, this is not always the case with LED lights. * Nice light distribution. Even though you are not able to run these lights through the entire length of the cabinets (i.e. under very small spice cabinets or under edges of any cabinet) the lighting nicely overlaps so that you don’t have dark spaces. * Very thin. I bought additional molding for my cabinets to hide the under cabinet lights. As it turned out, with these lights it was not necessary. * Low power consumption/low heat. I was more concern with excessive heat than electric bill (although the lower operation cost is a nice “side effect”) especially since a friend of mine warn me about this issue. After installing his beautiful xenon lights he stopped using them due to very extensive heat radiation. Overall I am very satisfied even though I’m not really happy about the overall cost. The cost of kitchen remodeling goes up very quickly and additional few hundreds of dollars adds additional stress. This being said, I think that under cabinet lights are important details of the nice kitchen determining the overall success of the project. My rating is based on product quality and satisfaction WITHOUT considering the cost.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LED Lighting Our electrician who did the install as part of a kitchen make over recommended these LED lights, and we are glad he did. The installed units are not obvious, and bathe the counter tops in a bright light, but with a dimmer control switch soften the light dramatically, which creates warm comfortable surroundings in the kitchen, and LED lighting gives off no heat. I recommend this lighting without any reservations
