Product Overview

The Juno Pro-Series LED 30 in. silver fixture offers exceptional energy efficiency and long life. Designed specifically for under cabinet installation, it provides brilliant white light for kitchen countertops and other household work surfaces. It features light output and color rendering similar to halogen fixtures, but consumes just 15% of the energy and lasts up to 20-times longer. The high-quality, low-profile aluminum housing tucks unobtrusively under cabinets and incorporates a clear, prismatic, tempered glass lens that reduces glare and is easy to clean. The Pro-Series LED 30 in. fixture has an integral on/off rocker switch and can be dimmed with most standard incandescent, magnetic Low-voltage, or electronic Low-Voltage dimmers.

  • Exceptionally efficient Pro-Series LED 30 in. fixture reduces energy consumption; operates on only 12.1-Watt input, just 1/6th the power requirement of equivalent halogen fixtures
  • 50,000 hour life virtually eliminates light source replacement; at 4 hours use per day you can expect 34 years of maintenance-free operation
  • Utilizes 8 state of the art LEDs with warm-white 3000K color temperatures, providing superb color rendering and consistency
  • Cool operating LEDs project virtually no heat in the light beam and do not transfer heat to cabinetry
  • LEDs produce no ultraviolet rays that can fade sensitive materials, and with no mercury or other toxins they are safe for both the family and the environment
  • High-quality, extruded aluminum fixture housing, finished in brushed silver, has a low 1 in. profile that tucks out of sight behind the front lip of cabinetry or against the rear backsplash
  • Clear, prismatic, tempered-glass lens provides maximum light transmission while reducing glare
  • Integral on/off rocker switch offers convenient operation; fixture is dimmable with most standard incandescent, magnetic Low-voltage, or electronic low-voltage dimmers
  • Easy, permanent installation with supplied hardware, captive mounting screws, and push-on electrical connectors; includes a straight joining-connector for connecting multiple fixtures

These lights are only 80 CRI which translates to a rather large variable. For the non initiated, the Color Rendering Index refers to the accuracy of the light with respect to its stated color temperature. That means that a light that is rated at 3000 Kelvin will have a possible 20% variable on that temperature. For reference, Kelvin is a temperature scale just like Fahrenheit or Celsius, but in this instance refers to color. An example: The element iron heated to 3200 degrees Kelvin (which is molten) is the same color white, as incandescent lights. 5600 degrees is the same color white as daylight. In this case, "warmer" means a lower temperature, and cooler is a higher temperature. Read Less

Answer:
Hello, the color temperature as measured in Kelvins (K) is the color of light so the marketing descriptions may vary from item to item. 3000K is more of a neutral white light that is typical for most under cabinet fixtures. 2700K would be a warmer white light and 4000K would be a cooler white light. Thanks!

Pro-Series 30 in. Brushed Silver LED Under Cabinet Light with Dimming Capability is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 25.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not very bright This is a nice looking light, was a bit expensive, but went ahead and got the 30" so it would be plenty bright and chose a light that was dimmable because it would probably be too bright for some things. The light was a nice light, but it was not near as bright as it needed to be for the price and purpose.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Product Super easy install: two wood screws mount fixture under cabinet, 2-port push-in connectors replace wire nuts for easy electrical connection. Color temp is better than outgoing T5 fixtures - like going high def! Works perfect with Lutron CFL/LED dimmer. Recommend 3 and 4-port push-in connectors if your fixtures are daisy chained (wire nuts will be tight).

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Easy to install, works well with good color and spread These things are too expensive but I needed under cabinet lighting to replace fluorescent fixtures that I was tired of repairing in a kitchen. Lowes carries Utilitech fixtures which I used for an office undercounter light a while back. Those were quite a bit cheaper but they used odd (non standard) wire entry fittings. For this application where things were a bit more exposed I wanted it to look nice (and be to code!)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great lights for dark cabinets Electrician said these were the easiest lights to install. Will recommend this brand to all clients. Was installed as a Direct Wire

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Light! I love these lights so much I ordered a second one after I had received the first one. They provide a nice bit of light -- I was surprised at how much. My use of these lights is under cabinets in my sewing room. They're bright enough that I was able to eliminate a desktop task lamp in my desk area. My husband says they were easy to install (plug-in). One thing I didn't realize until I had received the first one is that they don't come with the cord and plug for plug-in use. That needs to be ordered separately. They were a bit pricey, and it would have been nice to have had a few more of the cord anchors thrown in, but overall, I'm very pleased with these lights and highly recommend them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Completely satisfied Easy installation. All parts needed for replacing the existing fluorescent were included. The light is dimmable. I put a small band of tape around the drill bit to use as depth gauge so I didn't drill through the mounting board. Turn off the circuit breaker before wiring and then check to make sure all wires in the box are without voltage.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from For a visible spot Good light, nice finish. Best placement where you can see it or you can use cheaper option. Slight delay when turning on. Bright but may not be the widest spread.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Attractive, bright and easy to install I replaced an existing but troublesome fluorescent fixture that was too short for the space and burned out frequently. This wide and attractive LED light came well-packaged with two sets of wiring connectors. I chose the easiest option (push-in connectors that were already wired in). Color-coding of the wiring is correct (black, white and green). It also has two wiring clamp brackets, depending on whether your home has romex wire or shielded cable. I did have to use a rasp on both the wood cabinet frame and the edge of the tile to fit the clamp into the wall, but this rough work was concealed by the depth of the light box. Very nice finish and appearance. Very bright, too. Excellent above-the-sink lighting.
