Customer Questions & Answers

Is there a hole for the cord to run through the back or is the cord visible for the dog inside the igloo?

Asked by: Gen
Most Igloo Style Houses do not have a hole pre-drilled in the back of the house. You will need to drill a hole in the rear of your dog house to run the cord through the back. Please note that the 17.5 in. x 30 in. 80-Watt Large Igloo Style Heated Pad does not include an Igloo Style house, it is only the heated pad that fits inside these types of houses.

Is this product waterproof

Asked by: jewl4
The Igloo Style Heated Pad is water resistant. It is perfectly safe to use with a pet that is wet, this is normal usage. The pad should be installed in a place that will be out of the elements, such as under a porch, in a garage, or anywhere it will be protected from rain and snow. This pad should not be placed in an area that runs the risk of being submerged under water or snow.
