I did receive product for review, all opinions are my own.
With 475 K’NEX rods and connectors this building set offers endless amounts of creative fun! Build planes, cars, robots, and much more. With all of the K’NEX building sets, a booklet is included with instructions and examples of what you can make with this set. The pieces are fairly easy to connect. Our youngest son, who is three, was able to build smaller creations like a snowflake or sword, but needed our help when constructing the T-Rex. The included treasure storage bin offers tons of space for storing this set and additional building sets, which as a mom I can really appreciate.

A lot of fun though I wish you could build multiple big projects with all the parts in the chest i.e. Ferris Wheel and Scrambler.

These model building sets and even the bigger sets would fit nicely in an operation xmas child shoebox after being taken out of the box. The plans are color coded so any child of any language can build with ease. Just sharing the lightbulb that went off in my head. I am ordering my son a second set he loves it so much. And while I am at it I plan to order a third for a needy child.

My 5 year old got this as a gift and was very excited about building everything. Our box did not come with instructions, which makes in almost impossible. We're trying to use the pictures on the box, but that's difficult. Do I need to print instructions from the internet? What a pain!

i bought this with a gift card & I love tha building ideas & I was surprised to know that you are able to combine standard & micro knex to build sumthing. I think thats a cool idea to combine two different size knex.

So first off the treasure chest was smaller than expected but still did contain a whole bunch of pieces (480 to be exact.) There is room in the box to store more of your K'NEX pieces if you have others as well, the pieces you receive will not bulge from the box like the picture above. My boys are 6 and 7 and they love being creative with the K'NEX pieces and this contained enough to keep the two of the busy for quite some time. I love that there is a sheet with 35 building ideas with step by step visual instructions. There are also unique pieces in this set that my boys haven't used before so that was neat. This set would be a great gift for any child 6 or 7 and up. I am thinking it would be a good gift for birthday parties my boys get invited to and reasonable enough to buy and keep at grandma's house!

This set is every bit as great as the 52 set, only a bit smaller. The 35 different models you can build are all great and the pieces are easy to use. The instructions are easy for my daughter to follow along with as well.
