In the process of refinishing our basement and a friend recommended I use this before the Behr goes on. It was pretty inexpensive so I went for it. I seriously could not be more pleased with the results. The paint went on easily and covered very well. It initially goes on gray which makes it easier to see any missed spots. It dries white, leaving you with the perfect base layer. Highly recommend this product, it seems like it let me use less of the color to go on top because it covered the drywall/mud so well.

When building my home I looked around for a good drywall primer. After talking with others and testing a couple of cheap primers, nothing when on as great as PVA Primer. I shot it on straight out of the bucket using a 517 tip, no thinning, and it dried rather smooth with great coverage on new drywall. After dried I lightly sanded, hit very few thin spots, and that was all. This primer is the real deal.

No odor at all! went on with a roller and coverage was excellent! slight grey tint to it, but dries super white in very little time! I will buy this product again and will highly recommend it to others!

It works well over old drywall to..i sprayed acomplete house but the only thing it will bleed through on old drywall so you have to go with the kilz original in some places before applying the kilz PVA

Bought a 5gal Kilz Pro and a few Behr Drywall Primer 1gal buckets for a large basement job. I ran out of the Kilz product half way into the project so decided to use the Behr next. The Kilz dried up to be a beautiful white and Behr after 12hrs of drying time shows the joint compound underneath. Disappointed with Behr product even though it was more expensive. Kilz PRO Rocks for fresh Drywall!

Was one of the cheapest 5 gallon buckets of flat white but covers really well and goes on easy, even over high gloss paint. I tried to paint yellow latex over high gloss purple and the yellow beaded up like water on treated wood and the purple was still visible after 2 coats. The kilz went on clean and smooth and stuck well. I put it on kinda thick but only needed one coat. It's nice and bright too. I used it as ceiling paint as well and it worked great.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by kelseanixon I always use this brand!
I do a lot of DIY projects such as touching up old furniture I find in various thrift shops. I love using this after sanding for a smooth base. It works very well to fill in scratches. Then Im ready to paint and make it pretty!
