Rated 1 out of 5Â by Sharon28560 Runny and hard to use
We decided to paint a wooden Kitchen table and chairs. I had about 1/16 of a can of original oil based Kilz and bought a gallon of the odorless oil based product. We sanded the table and chairs. The original oil based product went on fine. The odorless can was so runny it was like water. We stirred and re-stirred to no avail. The primer just kept running down the spindles of the chairs and pooling at the bottom or dropping to the floor. It was messy to work with and created more work than I bargained for. I will never again use this product!

Rated 4 out of 5Â by PJB01 Excellent for preparing older unpainted ceilings.
Hello. We live in an older apartment complex and the ceilings in our apartment have that disgusting popcorn ceiling treatment. The unit has never had the ceiling painted so when we decided to paint we were told not to use latex directly on the ceiling. Purchased some Killz as a primer and it went on excellent with absolutely no odour. The coverage wasn't all that great as we went through several gallons but I assume that is because the ceiling is soaking up alot of the sealant. The top coat went on like glass.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by Bill Very Rough SUrface after Drying
I had a new bookcase built with pine so I wanted a good stain blocker for the knots. I chose Kilz Oil base Odorless in the gallon and rolled it on using a 3/8 knap 4" roller. Prior to applying the primer I sanded the wood and filled all holes to get a smooth surface. After the primer dried it was extremely rough and now I have to sand the whole bookcase over again. This is more a bookcase wall that if 10 feet high and 18 feet wide. To say I am unhappy is an understatement. In the areas where I used a brush you can see brush strocks. This primemr did not appear to level itself at all. This was a brand new gallon that was shaken at the store. I am very dissatisfied.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by AnniefromFla The cat urine smell is gone!!
I had just about given up and since I was having new carpet installed I wanted to do something to get rid of the cat urine smell from the pets of the previous owner. Luckily I am on a concrete slab so I applied the Kilz and now when I go into that room I don't smell anything. Excellent product.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by MichaelinDenver I was told "No strong odors."
I recently flipped a condo and it fell to me to redo the short hallway. When I stripped the old wallpaper, a lot of the drywall paper came with it. We primed the walls with Kilz Odorless primer to seal the drywall and to keep the odor at a minimum. Then we textured the walls and primed them again. The building manager was surprised at how it turned out and that we didn't get any odor complaints from other residents.
